- Several creepy characters attack Prince Phillip; they tie him up and gag him. He ends up in a dungeon chained to a wall.
- Maleficent turns into a giant fire breathing dragon and attacks Prince Phillip. She surrounds him with fire and snaps at him with her teeth. He eventually kills her by throwing his sword at her; it strikes her in the heart (blood is shown) and she falls off a cliff to her doom.

- the scene where the spinning wheel curse takes place, there is a shot where maleficent stands in a fireplace and it is quite chilling. there is also eerie music playing during the scene.
