This film is a re-edited version of a 1958 German film called "The Sin Began with Eva", directed by Fritz Umgelter. A U.S. producer hired Francis Ford Coppola to write and shoot additional nude scenes to add for an American release. The scenes featured Playboy model and actress June "The Bosom" Wilkinson and other beauties. Wilkinson and her massive 40D cleavage were featured prominently in the promotional materials.
June Wilkinson said that she had no idea the person who directed her scenes in this film was the same Francis Ford Coppola who later made The Godfather (1972) until a huge article in the Los Angeles times came out many years later about the film. She couldn't believe it was the same person because she thought this film is horrible.
Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner told June Wilkinson that he loved this movie.
June Wilkinson said many years later that she hates this movie because she thinks it's horrible. When she went to see it on her own when it was shown at a local theater, she left before the movie was over hoping no one recognized her.
