Sex & Nudity

  • Prostitution is the main theme of the movie and most of the female characters in the movie are prostitutes. There are scenes after implied sex. One woman is putting on a bra from behind you see her bare back but nothing else.

  • Scenes in film depict and describe animal meat and vegetable markets, showing carcasses, and body parts (including heads) of various animals. These scenes appear to use real animals, and possibly depicts a real meat market location.

  • Large parts of the movie is in a pub where men are always drinking and smoking a lot. Irma is a chain smoker and in at least one scene is shown to smoke several cigarettes to annoy her boyfriend and get his attention.

  • The fight sequence between Jack Lemmon and Bruce Yarnell's character, though played for laughs, may be disturbing for some due to the length of the fight, and the nature of the fighting done.
