Recently crowned 1966 Maid of Cotton,
Nancy Bernard, as part of her prize package, receives a tour of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie studio in Culver City, California. At the studio, Nancy is whisked around the world as she visits the sets of different movies set in various exotic locales, all recreated in sound stages and back lots. Among Nancy's other prizes include a wardrobe of cotton outfits, which she models on her tour. She is especially interested in the studio's wardrobe department, where she views a wardrobe screen test of
The Glass Bottom Boat (1966), and gets to try on some cotton outfits worn by actress
Doris Day in that movie.
