This IMAX documentary got created for the World's Fair in Spokane, Washington. Hosted by Chief Dan George (Little Big Man, The Outlaw Josey Wales) and narrated by James Whitmore, "Man Belongs to the Earth" addresses environmental issues and how we might deal with them. It's become more relevant than ever in the 21st century. I get the feeling that Godfrey Reggio may have gotten an idea for "Koyaanisqatsi"'s style from this documentary. Available on YouTube, so definitely check it out if you get a chance.
