When Corrie is viewing the dead body of Betsy, her sister, Betsy's eyelids are visibly fluttering.
All printed/written text that appears in shot is in English (even the iconic 'Arbeit Mach Frei' sign), even where it would in fact have been in German or Dutch. This is arguably just a cinematic device, but it's not consistent: thus, as Corrie is released, a sign reading 'Achtung' is seen.
As is often the (irrational) practice in English-language films, many shouted instructions ('schnell' etc.) are also in the original language.
There is a No Parking sign with a red cross on a blue background. This sign was introduced in 1966.
