The only film to feature Lynda Carter nude. Though there is some debate over whether a nude photo of her was featured briefly in Apocalypse Now (1979). She was cast to play a Playboy Playmate in that movie and shot a few scenes, but filming was delayed so she had to drop out. In one scene a topless Playboy centerfold can be seen of her even though her character is no longer in the film. But no one, including Carter, has ever confirmed whether she actually posed topless for the photo before leaving the project or if it was simply faked by putting her head on an actual Playmate's body.
It is the film debut of Lynda Carter. It premiered a month prior to the beginning of Lynda's career as the titular Amazonian superheroine in television series Wonder Woman (1975), which only lasted for three seasons.
When Marjoe Gortner finally agreed to be in the movie the second choice for lead actor, Sylvester Stallone, was told he would not be in the film.
The car Lyle steals at the beginning of the film is a 1970 Ford Mustang with the special "Grabber" edition orange paint and details. Only 818 were produced with that color, and as of 2015 only 13 were known to exist.
Movie was originally to be called "Desperado".
