I watched this film as a teenager. It was my first film. It was very natural and depicted a natural and traditional believe. The cast was fantastic. They were very popular and excellent artists. I wish this film could be repeated again.

Couple of years secondary school graduate and in my first job. Bisi Daughter of the River was my first Cinema visit and forerunner of today's Nigerian Nollywood film. Patricia Ebigwe (Patti Boulaye) was personification of Diana Ross of Nigeria then!

Got to UK 3 years later to find her on Top of the Pops! She was and still is fabulous! A Facebook friend has just added me to a group called 'childhood memories' and was pleasantly surprised to see how many members who could recall this film as well as her career that took off in the UK too.

I can wait to watch this film again to recollect long term memories in my late teenage years.
