When Showtime premiered Penny Dreadful a decade ago, we altogether expected a grand monster mash-up. And certainly, series creator John Logan delivered just that over the course of the three seasons that followed. But he also gave viewers something that we couldn’t possibly have anticipated: a horror drama of uncommon depth and crushing beauty. It is for that reason that all these years later, we still can’t help but hope he’ll reconsider his decision to end the show after just 27 episodes with the death of Eva Green’s Vanessa Ives. Listen close! Follow my instructions. There is no time for introductions. The score for "Five Nights at Freddy's" is officially getting the vinyl treatment from iam8bit, and these albums are going to go fast. Officially licensed with Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, the "Five Nights at Freddy's" score contains the music from The Newton Brothers as featured in the smash-hit film adaptation of the ridiculously popular video game series. If you're reading this, you probably already know that and don't need me to explain why "FNaF" is so popular, so I won't waste your time. For the rest of you, here's your homework.
The "Five Nights at Freddy's" soundtrack comes on red vinyl, but it's not just any red vinyl, it's specifically "Pizza Party Red." What does that mean, exactly? Well, it's the color of red many associate with those perfect plastic cups from places like Pizza Hut in the 1980s and 1990s,...

"Five Nights at Freddy's" is getting a sequel. As expected, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse are wasting no time in getting a sequel to last year's hit video game adaptation going. While the studio has yet to make a formal announcement, star Josh Hutcherson recently revealed that a follow-up to the horror flick is in the works as we speak, and it sounds very much like the brass wants to get the ball moving sooner rather than later.
Hutcherson recently spoke with Variety while promoting his new movie "The Beekeeper." During the conversation, he addressed the status of "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." He confirmed that the story is being worked on as we speak. "I know they're in the process right now of nailing down the story, and they want to get going as soon as possible," Hutcherson said. The actor also added that he is very appreciative to have...

This post contains spoilers for "Five Nights at Freddy's."
It took eight years for the film to finally hit the big screen, but the live-action adaptation of "Five Nights at Freddy's" is making bank at the box office, almost guaranteeing a film series for the already massively popular franchise based on the video game of the same name. With 13 games (and more on the way) and over 30 books of lore to choose from, there was no shortage of ideas for the film's story.
And yet, the film wisely chose not to directly copy the lore of the video games, instead crafting a script that borrows from some of the most well-known elements and creating an alternate universe in the process. Since the movie's release, there have been countless reports of adults lamenting the lore-dumping the little humans in their lives have been doing to try to explain the differences between...

Vanessa Kirby felt it was "miraculous" to be making 'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One' during the coronavirus pandemic. The 35-year-old actress returns as Alanna Mitsopolis/White Widow in the new action blockbuster and is astonished that Tom Cruise and the crew kept the global flick going amid the health crisis.Speaking to Digital Spy, Vanessa said: "The day before filming, the virus hit Italy and everyone had to fly back from Venice to London and quarantine for three weeks."As those weeks went on, it was challenging in the sense that we never knew when the film would go back up. If there was anybody that would be able to do it, it would be Tom and it was only the second movie in the world that did."'The Crown' star continued: "Even though it was so difficult as we had masks and it was socially distanced,...

It’s been a little over three years since Vanessa Bryant walked out on the court at the Los Angeles Lakers’ arena on Feb. 24, 2020, for the memorial service of her husband, Kobe Bryant, and their daughter, Gianna. On March 7, Vanessa made her return to the venue — then called the Staples Center and now Crypto.com Arena — to honour her late husband’s close friend and teammate, Pau Gasol, as the team retired his No. 16 jersey.
During the ceremony, the Lakers owners and players talked about Gasol’s legacy on the team, which includes two NBA championships and multiple All-Star Game appearances, and lifted his number to the rafters.

The film industry is shocked, dismayed and angry following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Thursday. She was killed while filming “Rust” when one of the movie’s actors, Alec Baldwin, discharged a prop gun on set.
Director Joel Souza was also injured in the incident and required hospitalization. Frances Fisher, who stars in the movie alongside Baldwin, Jensen Ackles and Travis Fimmel, tweeted late Thursday night that Souza had been discharged.
No one has been arrested in the incident, and no charges have been filed. An investigation is ongoing.
In the meantime, there has been an outpouring of grief and anger on social media, from those who knew and worked with Hutchins as well as the industry at large. Director Adam Egypt Mortimer, who worked with Hutchins on 2020 film “Archenemy,” tweeted: “I’m so sad about losing Halyna. And so infuriated that this could happen on a set.

Costume designer Mitchell Travers took to the streets to research the looks for “In the Heights,” set in Manhattan’s lively Washington Heights neighborhood. Travers spent hours photographing people — in the morning to see what workers rushing to subway stations looked like, at parks, and in shops. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the musical based on the Broadway hit opens in theaters and on HBO Max on June 11.
“I would see girls fully styled out and think, ‘There’s Vanessa.’ I’d see another kid and think ‘Everything about him could be Usnavi,’ and I’d rob these details from real street styles,” Travers says about seeking inspiration for the principal actors, played by Melissa Barrera and Anthony Ramos.
He ventured into salons under the guise of “looking for a friend,” and in those moments took in details about what people were wearing as they got their hair and nails done.

Welcome to our new Feature entitled ‘What’s so great about…’ which gives Roobla Creators a chance to vent controversial pop culture opinions and vent our frustrations about something that we feel gets far more love than it deserves. First to have the honours: Deadpool.
Upon release in 2016, Deadpool was met with praise from both critics and movie fans before going on to be one of the year’s biggest box office successes. Which is shocking when you consider that it is one of the worst blockbusters released in the last decade.
The paper-thin story is the same paint by numbers affair that Marvel seems to dish out at least five times a year:
Hero gets superpowers → Hero has fun with superpowers and uses them to fight crime → Hero has run-in with villain who either leaves the hero beaten or kills a loved one → Hero doubts themselves and thinks all...
