- TriviaSteve Martin was offered the role of Rooster. He turned it down when he heard he would be working alongside Bernadette Peters. They were breaking up at the time, and he felt it would be too painful to work with her for several months.
- GoofsMiss Hannigan drinks alcohol during during "Little Girls". The movie is set in 1933, when alcohol was still banned in the US. However, it was very common for people to make their own alcohol, often in a bathtub. Later during "Sign", Warbucks refers to "bathtub gin" and Hannigan ends the song after being backed into a full bathtub. She splashes Warbucks in the face with the liquid from the tub. Warbucks wipes his hand down his cheek, licks his fingers, and makes a face, indicating that the bathtub is full of homemade alcohol.

Daddy Warbucks: I'm not giving up. Don't you give up.
Annie: I didn't want to be just another orphan, Mr. Warbucks. I wanted to believe I was special.

One of my favorite musical films
"Annie" is the epitome of a family film in every way. From it's very catchy musical numbers to it's strong heart shown by it's talented cast, this film will make your heart sing even if you are in a bad mood. This film has some obvious faults, as it does not need to be two hours long and some plot devices seem to be thrown in to push the story along, but all-in-all, I had a blast watching it. For the type of film that it is, it's dialogue and lyrics are all well-written and it is very well-produced. "Annie" is the type of kid that you wish you could have been friends with growing up, due to her sheer likability. "Annie" is one of the most enjoyable musicals I have seen. For anyone ho has not seen it, it definitely earns a recommendation from me.
