The film features four women of different ages, each representing the four elements of nature (air, water, earth and fire). For these roles, very beautiful actresses were needed, willing to appear completely naked. Director Tana Kaleya said the most difficult choice was the one for the role of the teenage girl. "I looked everywhere, auditioned a hundred young girls. None had the necessary mix of purity and sensuality. Finally, Helmut Berger remembered a young actress to whom he had given his first kiss in a previous film." It was fifteen-year-old Eva Cobo.
Alexandra Stewart considers this film a shameful production. "Admittedly, the story took place in Ibiza, but what a mess! The brave Edmond Séchan, a good cinematographer, was depressed all the time. Helmut Berger, my partner, had signed this film for economic reasons, like all of us. Unable to control himself, he couldn't remember his text. I was assigned to share his room to keep him from hanging out all night and force him to learn his role," Stewart recalls.
