Would you settle for Improbable?

We bought this movie for a laugh from a shop called poundland. We were up for a laugh and reading the back cover we knew we wouldn't be disappointed.

It was everything we expected, bad acting, bad script and terrible storyline. The story seemed to focus around a calculator and we gather that theft of these inexpensive items was a very big thing in the 80s. The actors, Kevin Dillon, Christopher Gartin and Bruce Keller were the token strengths of this movie.

We were so inspired by this coming of age story that we immediately set to work on a remake. The catchphrase NO BIG DEAL will live on because of this film!

80s After-School Special memories

Summed up - this is just another after-school special - Typical run of the mill story about the stereotypical good kid with his perfect circle of high school friends who befriend the 'new kid' in school. In one of Kevin Dillon's earliest, and most forgettable performances, he plays the black sheep new kid who has a knack for finding trouble (whether it be stealing cars or getting into fights). Of course Harry, against the advice of his concerned friends and family, continues to stick by his side - thinking that all he needs is a chance. As in most after-school movies, there is always the lesson to be learned and "No Big Deal" is no different. Cookie-cut morality lesson from beginning to end. Watch for early 80s nostalgia only!
