Video games are evolving at a rapid rate. Changing from linear experiences to dynamic ones, thanks to games like Helldivers 2. Other things that have been increasingly implemented in video games are the moral implications that shape gameplay. Some suggest Ubisoft would bring something similar to Far Cry 7, changing the franchise for the better.
They had a chance of doing it years ago with Rainbow Six: Patriots, but that was scrapped in favor of Siege. Afterward, they tried implementing this in a number of their games, but in a very small way. There were some choices in Assassin’s Creed games; even Far Cry games had those, but they did not change the output drastically. But now things would supposedly be a bit different. One must say that if they have decided to bring this change to Far Cry 7, they can also bring an incredible new feature from Rise of the Ronin.

MacieJay was on track to become a veterinarian when he injured his foot and found himself stuck at home.
His injury was “pretty bad,” he says, and not what he wanted to be dealing with after completing a bachelor’s in biology. His plan had been to transfer on to veterinary school, but he couldn’t hike around a campus with his foot the way it was. And, on top of that, he was an avid skateboarder, so his usual top hobby was off the table, too.
Luckily, he had one more hobby he loved: gaming.
He’s been a gamer his whole life, he says, and started playing on Nintendo systems as a kid.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Rookie Season 5 finale, “Under Siege.”] The Rookie Season 5 finale title proved to be fitting. Horror elements were featured throughout “Under Siege,” during which a group of masked men attacked the officers of the LAPD Mid-Wilshire Division with an eery plan. The group attacked in stages. First, they went after Aaron Thorsen (Tru Valentino) and Celina Juarez (Lisseth Chavez), heading home after a long session of Dungeons & Dragons. The pair split up to evade the attackers, but as Juarez was running back to Thorsen’s aid, he was shot in the back while on his knees. Juarez was then knocked out by one of the other attackers, and just before she went unconscious, they whispered a riddle in her ear. Thorsen’s fate was left up in the air as he was rushed into surgery. When the hospitalized Juarez came to, she told John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) the ominous...

Season 2 of the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone is now available for streaming, and fans can’t get enough of The Darkling (Ben Barnes) and Kaz Brekker (Freddy Carter). The pair lead a cast of dark and fantastical characters as they evoke supernatural powers creating mystical worlds and alternate dimensions. The highly-successful series is based on the Grishaverse novels by author Leigh Bardugo. While both men portray characters from a different universe, the author claims two popular disco tracks would be perfect karaoke songs for the fan-favorite actors.

After fans waited almost two years for new episodes, the second season of Shadow and Bone premiered on March 16 on Netflix. The new season adapts Leigh Bardugo’s Siege and Storm as well as Ruin and Rising, bringing the novelized Shadow and Bone trilogy to a close.
However, the source material for Bardugo’s Grishaverse does not end with that core trilogy. Rather, it continues with two more duologies: Six of Crows and King of Scars. Unlike King of Scars, some details from the Six of Crows books have already crept into the Shadow and Bone series. And as it turns out, scripts for a Six of Crows spinoff series have already been completed.

This article contains spoilers for Shadow and Bone season 2.
It’s understandable that before fans get into a Netflix show nowadays, they want to know whether the show will have another season or whether they’ll be stuck with another cliffhanger ending that will never be continued. Yes we’re talking about Julie and the Phantoms, First Kill, Partner Track, and so much more. But with a show like Shadow and Bone, where we have a whole universe’s worth of stories to pull from and a strong fan base, viewers will be happy to hear that back when showrunner Eric Heisserer pitched the show for Netflix, he told them his ideas for a three-season series.
If you’re yet to start Shadow and Bone or have forgotten the premise since season one, Shadow and Bone is Alina Starkov’s (Jessie Mei Li) story based on a book series of...

Alina and Mal found a bit of peace, but that quickly got foiled when Alina learned her nightmares were real.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 Episode 1 saw Alina dreaming of Kirigan inside the fold while the Crows dealt with their issues.
Pekka managed to kill the woman whose name was on the deed for the Crow Club, which means the club now was his: as was Inej's contract.
Mal and Alina continued their romance, but their romantic interactions kept getting interrupted by multiple outside occurrences.
Both of them managed to get caught, causing them to flee the land they had just arrived in.
We didn't see much of the Zemeni side of things, so hopefully, they get brought back into the future. Just as Alina did, we learned that the Zemeni consider their magic users blessed and don't categorize them.
The Zemeni saved Alina and Mal later in the episode, much to everyone's surprise.

The following contains Shadow and Bone spoilers.
The second season of Shadow and Bone is absolutely jam-packed with big moments of both the emotional and the magical variety, adapting the events of two of Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels (Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising) and adding multiple shocking new twists entirely of its own making along the way.
Let’s break down what happened in the Shadow and Bone Season 2 finale and all the questions we have about what it might mean for the show going forward.
Surprise! Mal is the Firebird — and a Descendent of Morozova
Alina’s mission during much of Season 2 is to find the two other ancient mystical creatures tied to Ilya Morozova, a character from Bardugo’s books that the show has sort of mentioned multiple times in passing but never fully explained in any great detail. Suffice it to say, the three creatures—the Stag,...

Netflix’s “Shadow and Bone” Season 2 will continue to immerse viewers into the fictional fantasy world created by Leigh Bardugo, author of the “Shadow and Bone” trilogy and the “Six of Crows” duology.
Landing on the streamer March 16, the second season of the YA fantasy series adapts both “Siege and Storm” and “Ruin and Rising” from Bardugo’s trilogy while sprinkling in elements from the “Six of Crows” duology. New characters from both parts of the Grishaverse enter the story this round as well, including Tolya Yul-bataar (Lewis Tan), Tamar Kir-bataar (Anna Leong Brophy), Sturmhond aka Nikolai Lantsov (Patrick Gibson) and Wylan Hendricks (Jack Wolfe).
Season 1 laid a complex foundation for the elaborate universe that houses this story, and for those that need a refresher on what exactly happened in the first season, look no further. We’ll do our best to summarize, from the intricacies to the adventures.

With the sleepy release months of January and February behind us, the time has come to enter March, where a deluge of exciting titles await. Prepare for the much-anticipated return of fan-favorite TV series: everything from "The Mandalorian" and "Ted Lasso" to "Succession" and "Yellowjackets." Even "Riverdale" is on the way back, if that's the kind of chaos that you're into! But enough about other streaming services — what's going on over at Netflix, the Og spot for a weekend binge?
The streamer has recently revealed their release slate, detailing everything to come in March 2023 and there's a lot going on. For one thing, they've somehow managed to produce yet another season of "Love Is Blind," an often painful-to-watch dating reality series where terrible decisions are made and basically nothing good ever happens. Things are getting more complicated (and hotter) in the Grishaverse with the Sun Summoner getting involved in a love quadrangle in season 2 of Netflix's "Shadow and Bone." The last time we saw Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) in the season finale, she managed to free herself from the influence of the brooding, manipulative General Kirigan (Ben Barnes), who tried harnessing her powers using Morozova's collar. This is the moment Alina chooses to truly step into her power and do what's necessary to snatch back her autonomy. Deciding that it is best to go into hiding, she and Mal (Archie Renaux) are seen walking into the unknown, with the knowledge that the Darkling's reign has finally come to an end. Little do they know that Kirigan is very much alive, and more intent than ever to track Alina down, no matter what the cost.

The most fascinating thing about the history of difficult PC games isn’t necessarily the difficulty of individual titles but rather the diversity of difficult experiences the platform has gifted us throughout the years.
From meme games specifically designed to make you rage quit to underrated platformers and punishing puzzle titles, the history of difficult PC games essentially doubles as a fairly comprehensive look at all the ways developers have creatively punished us for daring to think we were ever good enough to beat their cruelest creations.
What are the most difficult PC games ever made, though? Well, answering that question is only slightly easier than actually playing the games on such a list, so in the interest of honoring the hardest PC games ever, we’re offering an extended look at the games that made you toss your mouse and keyboard in the air and briefly consider the benefits of smashing the family computer.

Hello, everyone! I hope you have your wallets ready because we have a huge day of horror and sci-fi home media releases this week, and there are a ton of different titles fans are definitely going to want to add to their collections. Blue Underground has given the criminally undercelebrated Dead & Buried the 4K treatment for their 3-Disc Limited Edition release of the film, and if you’re a big fan of sci-fi/action movies, you’ll definitely want to pick up the latest Vestron Video release, The Wraith, which Lionsgate is putting out on Blu this Tuesday as well.

I mean, it’s not like absolutely everything is terrible right now, but certainly a lot of things are and we could all do with a break. As a result, here’s a list of Doctor Who stories – one chosen per Doctor – that I put on for comfort. Sometimes you need something familiar and well-worn to unwind with.
This list is very much subjective, some of it is down to which Doctor Who videos I could afford when I was 10. These stories work for me and it’s unlikely they will work completely for someone else. Also worth mentioning is that this list is incomplete; these are not the only stories I watch for comfort, and indeed sometimes that’s not the reason I watch these stories.

While Shadow and Bone has yet to get an official Season 2 order from Netflix, a continuation of the epic fantasy series based on the Grishaverse book series by Leigh Bardugo seems inevitable. The first season of the fantasy drama dropped on Netflix on Friday and, as much as it tells a satisfying story, it is very obviously setting up a seasons-long saga that will take us through the three books of the Shadow and Bone book series and the the two books of the Six of Crows series. Visions du Réel World Premiere ‘Little Palestine, Diary of a Siege’ Acquired by Lightdox (Exclusive)
Swiss doc company Lightdox has just acquired world sales rights to documentary “Little Palestine, Diary of a Siege” Abdallah Al-Khatib’s debut, co-produced by Films de Force Majeure and Bidayyat for Audiovisual Arts, premieres in Vision du Réel’s platform on April 21 in its main International Feature Competition
A Lebanon, France and Qatar co-production, the film follows the lives of Palestinian refugees living in the district of Yarmouk in Damascus, Syria. As the Syrian revolution breaks out, the biggest Palestinian refugee camp comes under siege and its inhabitants finish up cut off from the world, without food, medicine and electricity.
Al-Khatib’s brave debut shapes up as a love letter to his fellow citizens and their humanity amidst a profoundly inhuman situation, sitting perfectly in Lightdox’s sales slate catalog which has titles such as “Broken Land” or the Italian-Swiss “Il Mio Corpo.”

The big screen Transformers franchise may be on an extended hiatus – although, there are currently multiple projects in various stages of development – but fans were able to get their fix earlier this year when the first chapter in the Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy landed on Netflix.
The series loaded up on nostalgia for Generation I without leaning too heavily into it at the expense of the story, and audiences were captivated by the crisp visuals, action-packed narrative and a cliffhanger ending that teased much more to come. Second installment Earthrise doesn’t even have a release date yet, but it’s already been confirmed that third and final season Kingdom will double down on fan service by not only reintroducing Beast Wars into the mythology, but having the Maximals and Predacons interact with the Autobots and Decepticons.
Circling back to Earthrise, though, and a new trailer has just been...
