Lily Tomlin and her partner of 42 years Jane Wagner may have a lot more than Christmas to celebrate this holiday season. The 9 to 5 star says she and Wagner could be planning a winter wedding. "We're talking about it," Tomlin told me at Glesn's Respect Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "I think December, I'm off. I have no obligations at the moment." Here's hoping her calendar remains empty. Tomlin, 74, exclusively told E! News in August that she and Wagner, 78, were thinking of getting hitched. "You don't really need to get married, but marriage is awfully nice," she said. "Everybody I know who got married, they say it really makes a...

Actress Lily Tomlin has revealed to E! News that she and longtime partner Jane Wagner may finally be walking down the aisle.
"Jane and I have been together for 42 years. We're thinking maybe we'll get married," says Tomlin at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Pre-Emmy Performers Peer Group reception. "You don't really need to get married, but marriage is awfully nice. Everybody I know who got married, they say it really makes a difference. They feel very, very happy about it."
She adds that they didn't think gay marriage would be legal in their lifetime, calling it "remarkable."
The two met in 1971 when Tomlin asked Wagner, a writer, director and producer, to work on a comedy album together. And, being the funny women that they are, Tomlin cracks of the wedding, "No rings, no bridal dresses. Maybe we'll be dressed like chickens."
That would be amazing.

After more than four decades together, Lily Tomlin and her partner Jane Wagner may finally tie the knot. "Jane and I have been together for 42 years," Tomlin said tonight at The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Pre-Emmy Performers Peer Group reception. And then she exclusively revealed to me, "We're thinking maybe we'll get married." Tomlin, who turns 74 on Sept. 1, and Wagner, 78, never thought they would see same sex marriage legal in their lifetime. "You didn't think that would happen," the 9 to 5 star said. "It's pretty remarkable." The Supreme Court's recent rulings on Doma and Prop 8 have paved the way for gay couples like...

I love, love, love Lily Tomlin! The iconic actress is so down-to-earth and witty! And she's fantastic in the new movie .Admission. from director Paul Weitz based on the novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz and adapted by Karen Croner. Tomlin stars as Susannah, the mother of Tina Fey's character. She's a staunch feminist who may have misguided her daughter early on in life. Paul Rudd also stars in .Admission. . a sweet, smart, heartfelt film about letting someone in in your life. In this interview, we talked about:
*** Her attraction to the film
*** Her well-drawn character and her tattoo in the movie in homage to Bella Abzug, one of the leaders of the women's movement
*** The movie's crux is passion . what drives Miss Lily Tomlin?
*** Her love for Palm Springs . I invited her and partner Jane Wagner to live with me
And then...she kissed me...awwwwww. I wished that...

Good afternoon and happy Friday!
Happy birthday to Drew Barrymore, Julie Walters, Jeri Ryan and Rachel Dratch!
Rihanna and Kate Moss look just like two good friends hanging out on the cover of V magazine.
Mila Kunis sat down with Conan to promote her new film Oz: The Great and Powerful. Not surprisingly, Kunis was funny and charming as always.
Congratulations to new mom Amber Rose! The out model gave birth to a baby boy named Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
The team behind The Real L Word are revving up for a Real L Word documentary. The producers are currently casting and looking for “lesbians with important and compelling stories to tell for a documentary-approach to lesbian life beyond the city lights. This project will focus on the experience of living as a lesbian in more conservative areas throughout the country where non-acceptance is still the norm.

The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival will debut a men’s program and youth performances when it opens for the 20th time this March. The annual exhibition of performance artists, which was founded by Adilah Barnes, an African-American solo artist, and Miriam Reed, a white solo artist, has long been a heaven for female actors, poets, and storytellers—particularly those of color. “We have been multi-ethnic and multi-disciplined—African American, Jewish, Middle Eastern, Asian, Latina,” Barnes told Backstage. “The majority of them are actors—80 percent—because a lot of actors are now doing solo shows, they’re becoming a lot more autonomous, and with more autonomy the more empowered you are.” This year’s festival, which opens March 21 with a gala hosted by Danny Glover and “Becker” star Hattie Winston, is moving its main venue from the Electric Lodge Performing Arts Center in Venice, a 97-seat theater, to the...

Before it was a show, the L word was love. And lesbians. Lesbians and love. So for this very special holiday that happens every year, we wanted to get in the spirit with some of both. Lesbians in love.
Jenny Shimizu and Michelle Violy Harper
Model/actress Jenny Shimizu is as famous for having dated Angelina Jolie as she is for her androgynous fashion appeal, but she doesn't seem to mind. As to if she'll ever get married, Jenny told Diva, "You know, that's a hard one. Either we get the same laws as heterosexual couples, or I don't want it at all. But I'd like to settle down and get married. I feel like, as gay people, we date each other and being girlfriends has always been enough for me, but I'm not sure.

It was one of those nights so special that anyone who was there, will never forgot it. Thank God I was one of those folks in the audience last night for Coco Peru’s In Conversation with Lily Tomlin held, appropriately, at the Lily Tomlin Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center.

Jane Wagner, Lily’s personal and professional partner of nearly 40 years, was in the front row of the packed theater and as the evening progressed, you realize just how crucial she has been to this brilliant career that has resulted in eight Emmys, two Tonys, a Grammy and an Oscar nomination among many other accolades.

The first thing Kathy Griffin asked Lily Tomlin when she got her into bed on last night's My Life on the D-List was, "Did you turn Lindsay Lohan gay?"
Tomlin's response: "Ha ha ha! Actually, you know — maybe I did! I think she was sort of leaning, and, well, she probably admired my work so much, she thought that was the path to artistry."
It all started when Griffin shouted a D-List guest star invitation to Tomlin during the middle of one of her stand-up routines. Tomlin's initial response was to shield her eyes, look out in the audience and say, "No, I refuse to get on your sinking ship!" But of course she did, because Lily Tomlin is nothing if not a good sport, and Kathy Griffin's ship certainly isn't sinking. (Unless God smites her during a freak thunderstorm, which, let's be honest, is entirely possible.)
