Trivia Elmore Silk's house stood at what is now 40 Ninth Street, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. When asking for a ride to this location, Julius asks the driver if they are going to New Waterford, which is a neighboring town to Glace Bay. In the movie, the house has the civic number 88 on the outside, it is unclear if the numbers were changed by the filmmakers for shooting, or if the civic numbers in the area have been updated since the movie was filmed. The structure was actually a duplex, Elmore's half has since been demolished, but as of 2023 the other half (38 Ninth St) still stands and appears to be occupied. See more »
