Goofs | When Major Wright (Telly Savalas) is testing the new recruits under fire, he says that "the .30 caliber machine gun at the other end of the field is locked in to fire at 36 inches above the ground" yet when the machine gun is shown firing above the heads of the troops crawling on the ground, the barrel is jumping in all directions from the recoil and being aimed manually by the gunner, clearly not locked in any direction.
