The Chicago Fire cast has added another new face for Season 12.
It’s already been a season of change at Firehouse 51, and that continues with the next new episode.
Exits are happening frequently this season, beginning with Firefighter Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende) leaving Chicago in the season premiere.
Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) married Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and then moved to Portland. Her exit was a tough one for the fans.
New Paramedic Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh) dropped in for two episodes but wasn’t a good fit at the firehouse. Chief Boden sent him packing – a decision that could lead to repercussions later.
A new episode of Chicago Fire introduced another new paramedic. But she might stick around for a while, especially since Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) took a liking to her.
Here is the latest news on Jake Gibson (Rome Flynn).

As Fire Country's second season continues to heat up, the show's central characters are being put through the wringer like never before.
And that means, of course, that the series' stars are facing new challenges in terms of heart-rending drama and pulse-pounding action sequences, some of which are unlike anything that's ever been attempted on network television.
We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Jordan Calloway, who plays firefighter Jake Crawford, for a conversation about his character, his career, and what the future holds for Fire Country.
Jordan, of course, is no newcomer to the world of television.
He got his start on the Nickelodeon sitcom Unfabulous way back in 2004, and his role on Black Lightning made him an important figure in the CW's Arrowverse.

To many a Grey’s Anatomy fan, Arizona without Callie is like surgery without anesthesia. But when Jessica Capshaw reprises her role in the ABC drama’s abbreviated Season 20 (which kicks off Thursday, March 14, at 9/8c), she’ll be doing so as a solo actress. Why didn’t Sara Ramirez scrub in as Callie, too?

No matter where they go, Firehouse 51 will always be their home.
Boden reminds Brett and Casey of that in the latest Chicago Fire promo, but we didn't need the reminder.
We know that no matter who comes and goes at this unique firehouse, their friends will always be waiting with a warm hug when they return.
This long-awaited union will be bittersweet.
As much as we've cheered for Sylvie and Brett to land in each other's arms, we've always known that if they take that plunge, the more permanent ties to Firehouse 51 and Chicago itself would be severed.
Thankfully, Matt Casey's work often brings him close to his friends in Chicago, so there is still a chance he'll return now and again even if his love will be by his side in Portland.

Did you ever have an episode of TV that just rubbed you the wrong way?
That's how I felt about Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 5 when the hour began. It was hard to shake the agitation.
It felt like that was the point of it, too. We could all use a massaging easy chair.
What makes a show like Chicago Fire tick is that if you have that attitude going in, you will probably come away feeling entirely different.
That goes for viewers and anyone who comes in contact with Firehouse 51.
The emergency at the high school with a young basketball player whose heart stopped started the whole shebang. It seemed like it would be just like any other case, except when Sylvie and Violet set to do what they've done many times before, their equipment failed.
It's hard to imagine what it must feel like to do everything right and...

Was Kelly Severide’s return to Chicago Fire only temporary?
In the Jan. 31 episode of the NBC drama, Taylor Kinney’s character was again pulled away from 51 due to an arson investigation. After his long absence during most of season 11, it’s definitely a little alarming to see Severide get sucked into another out-of-state case. So, is Chicago Fire setting the stage for Kinney’s permanent exit in season 12? Here’s what we know.
Kelly Severide took on another arson case in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 12 Episode 3 Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd and Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 12 Episode 3 | Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC
Severide’s passion for arson investigation is threatening to drive a wedge between him and his wife, Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo).
Midway through Chicago Fire Season 11, he left the Windy City to participate in an arson investigation training program in Alabama.

"Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" is bringing back our favorite paranormal exterminators for another round of busting spooks, specters, and ghosts. The events of "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" in the small town of Summerville, Oklahoma saw a resurgence of original "Ghostbusters" villain Gozer the Gozerian thwarted by the estranged family of Egon Spengler, a curious teacher and seismologist named Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd), and the original Ghostbusters team. They saved the day, but what now?
Well, it appears Winston Zeddemore (Hudson) has been using his corporate wealth to fund a new research facility for the Ghostbusters. The Spengler family has returned to New York City, joined by Grooberson and teenage friend Lucky (Celeste O'Connor), but what should be a fun summer turns into an icy nightmare when a paranormal threat called Garraka brings a "Death Chill" to the city and threatens humanity all over again. Though we've never seen this villain anywhere in the "Ghostbusters" universe before,...

The Ghostbusters: Afterlife (watch it Here) sequel Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (which, of course, also serves as a sequel to the original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II) is set to reach theatres on March 22nd – and during an interview with Empire magazine, director/co-writer Gil Kenan revealed that the film draws inspiration from the 1986 – 1991 animated series The Real Ghostbusters‘ willingness to be weird and wild.
Kenan said he appreciated The Real Ghostbusters‘ “wild, original and weird-as-fuck villains. We wanted to bring that show’s looseness and fearlessness to this movie. I think it’s going to surprise people just how big this film is.“
As Empire pointed out, The Real Ghostbusters “unleashed such oddities as a werechicken, a boogeyman, and an alternate reality with ‘Peoplebusters’.” As for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the main villain is something known as the Death Chill, and it also features a giant creature known as the Sewer Dragon.

Chicago Fire season 11 ended with plenty of personal and professional drama. A sniper attack left Mouch clinging to life. Sylvie Brett adopted a baby girl and was on the receiving end of a proposal from her ex-boyfriend Matt Casey. And Stella Kidd set out to discover what exactly Kelly Severide was doing during his extended absence from the Windy City.
So, what’s next for the crew at Firehouse 51? Fans have been left to speculate for months, thanks to the actors’ and writers’ strikes delaying the show’s return. Now, with the season 12 premiere just weeks away, these are the questions we hope are answered in the first episode.

Mouch (Christian Stolte) has had brushes with death in the past. But the season 11 finale, when he was rushed to the hospital after being hit with some shrapnel, had us seriously worried about his fate. At first, it...

While Elvis Presley and Kiss feel like part of two different eras, Elvis was still around to hear the exuberant band before his 1977 death. The members of Kiss have praised the Memphis singer in the past. While Presley never publicly shared support for the band, his stepbrother said the “Heartbreak Hotel” singer became a fan after listening to one of their songs multiple times.
Elvis Presley became a fan of Kiss after listening to ‘Let Me Go, Rock ‘n’ Roll’ repeatedly
Kiss was formed in New York City in 1973 with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. The band became famous with early hits, such as “Nothin’ to Lose” and “Firehouse”. Filming is now underway on the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel, which will bring legacy actor Ernie Hudson back as Winston Zeddemore. One character from the original films who will not be appearing in the next sequel? Dana Barrett, played by Sigourney Weaver.
Weaver tells Collider, “I wasn’t asked to be in this Ghostbusters.”
“And I think, you know, a little of us goes a long way,” Weaver adds.
Sigourney Weaver’s role in the Ghostbusters franchise has become increasingly limited with these two most recent movies, first appearing as a new character in a post-credits scene for Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. She more recently reprised the role of Dana Barrett in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a cameo that was also relegated to a post-credits scene.

We are approaching the Chicago Fire Season 11 finale.
On Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 20, Brett acted out of character when an emergency hit close to home while Carver was arrested for assaulting someone.
Spoilers for Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 21 tease a continuation with both of these developments as Carver faces the repercussions for his actions. At the same time, Brett tries to reconcile her life with the baby she rescued.
When an incident happens, there is usually a difference in opinion on how the events unfolded based on different factors.
According to Carver, he protected himself and Stella when he brawled with Shep. But when the cops arrived, they only saw one man on top of another, pummelling him.
The police arrested him, and, in this episode, he deals with this arrest.
Assaulting another person should not be taken lightly, and the officers who arrested Carver don't take it lightly.

After a super short hiatus, we are back at Firehouse 51.
Truck and Squad crashed on Chicago Fire Season 1 Episode 12, with each team claiming superiority over the other. The beef was short-lived as they made up towards the episode's end. We've seen this once every eleven years or so.
Hermann dealt with something personal when it became evident that Cindy's cancer was much more severe than initially thought.
On Chicago Fire Season 1 Episode 13, we have some new stories and guest characters who will shake the world up for someone we have all come to like -- hopefully.
Spoilers for the episode are bound to make you wish it was on already.
Carver's brother visits.
To say Carver has had quite a journey during his short stint in Firehouse 51 would be a major understatement. If it weren't for Chief Boden's steadfast belief in him, he would not have survived this house.

It's nearly impossible to be a fan of procedural television without watching a series produced by Dick Wolf. He created an enduring hit with the "Law & Order" universe in the 1990s and continued his reign with his "One Chicago" universe. In 2012, Wolf took fans from New York to the Windy City with a franchise that follows law enforcement officers, firefighters, and medical personnel. The franchise's flagship series, "Chicago Fire," is among the best procedural shows of the last ten years due to its quality storylines and lovable characters.
The men and women of Firehouse 51 share a unique bond that transcends mere professional relationships. Week after week, the series brings them into some of the most dangerous situations imaginable, and survival is never guaranteed. This show is the most reliably well-written part of the "One Chicago" franchise. Still, every great series has its low points. Some seasons are memorable from beginning to end,...

Alberto Rosende stars as firefighter Blake Gallo on Chicago Fire.
We had a chance to catch up with him right before the premiere of Chicago Fire's ninth season on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Read on to find out what Alberto had to say about what's ahead for Gallo this season, a potential new love interest, and what a Covid world looks like.
So let’s dive right in. What’s up ahead for Gallo this season?
We left him after his breakup with Violet, and I think in this next season, we're gonna see him learn to maybe be a little more confident with himself, maybe stand up for himself a little more, or at least maybe find a more stable place to hold his own ground.
Are things definitely over with Violet, or is Gallo ready to move on?
We know that. I think I can say that things are pretty done with Violet.

On the big screen, she has had roles on Burning Sands and Superfly.

While sparks flew between Owen and his new lady friend on Monday’s 9-1-1: Lone Star, not everyone in firehouse 126 was quite so lucky in love. If you’ve seen the episode, you know we’re referring to Paul, whose first date with a woman since moving to Austin ended with a handshake… and an apology. (And if you haven’t seen the episode, turn back now. Spoilers ahead!)
Despite hitting it off with a woman he rescued from a strip club brawl — a typical meet-cute scenario in the 9-1-1 universe — Paul was initially hesitant to ask her out.

All's well that ends well.
It took a life-and-death situation, but Firehouse 51 and 20 finally got past their differences on Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 11 and realized they're all on the same team.
While we should be applauding a happy ending, I'm disappointed that the rivalry was wrapped up so quickly.
As I previously mentioned, rivaling firehouses would have been a new twist on the "Big Bad" story arc.
Usually, some authority figure comes in for a few episodes and complicates things up for 51 for a while before our favorite heroes find a way to triumph over said "Big Bad."
It's a simple wash, rinse, repeat routine, and I was looking forward to something new.
However, now that the two firehouse have made peace, this storyline seems to be done for the time being.
Despite feeling a little -- or a lot -- rushed, there were some tense moments where it seemed...
