Storyline
Plot Summary |
Indeed, it seems that some people never learn, and after the recent fiasco of conniving Captain Harris in Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987), once more, the sneaky officer wants to take over the ageing Commandant Lassard's job, and step into his shoes. This time, the perfect opportunity arises in the shape of the prestigious "Police Officer of the Decade" convention in sunny Miami Beach, to commemorate Lassard's dedication to the force; however, a fateful encounter with an audacious trio of diamond thieves leads to a dangerous, high-speed chase across the Everglades. Now, it is up to Commandant Lassard's nephew, Sergeant Nick Lassard, and the Academy's loyal graduates to save the day. Can the boys thwart Harris' plans? Written by Nick Riganas |

Did You Know?
Trivia | Steve Guttenberg turned down the lead role and gave a firm "no" to any other Police Academy sequels that might turn up (and they did). He turned them all down. Two decades later, he expressed in an interview that he regretted turning down the chance to star in the later sequels, and was among the main people trying to make another Police Academy movie. Capt. Thaddeus Harris:
Some dickhead is standing in my sun! Sgt. Nick Lassard: Oh, Captain Harris! Hey, I didn't see you there. You know, I don't think we've been introduced. My name is Nick... Capt. Thaddeus Harris: I don't care who you are, buttwipe. Just get out of my sun! Sgt. Nick Lassard: Buttwipe? Capt. Thaddeus Harris: Scram, sleazeball! Sgt. Nick Lassard: Okay, fine. [Leaves] Sgt. Nick Lassard: Buttwipe, huh? Never heard that before. Lt. Proctor: That was great, Sir! Capt. Thaddeus Harris: Proctor? Lt. Proctor: Yes, Sir? Capt. Thaddeus Harris: Now you're in my sun. See more » |
