Throughout the movie Kate's stockings keep changing colour. For example at one time she steps in to the elevator where they are black. The gremlins then cut the cables of the elevator, she falls down, and when she steps out they are grey/white.
When Gizmo falls down the air duct and lands to find all the hatched Gremlin cocoons, just before he lands some green goo from the cocoons had apparently dripped onto his stomach. When he does hit the bottom, though, his stomach is clean again.

When the gremlins store pots and pans of steel in the microwave, they turn it on and it explodes. There may be sparks and smoke but a microwave will not explode as a result of this.
During Kate's story about Lincoln's birthday, actor Zach Galligan, who plays Billy can be seen trying his best not to break character. By the time he drags her off-screen, he can't hold it in anymore and can be seen starting to laugh.

Although sunlight and bright light is supposed to be deadly to Mogwais, at the start of the film Gizmo climbs out of the ruins of Mr. Wing's shop into broad bright daylight will no ill effects. (While one could argue it was too overcast, and therefore not harmful, this may still be considered a plot hole).
The only adults who the Gremlins don't attack are Grandpa Fred and Mr Katsuji, and Grandpa Fred doesn't seem scared of the Gremlins. This would have been partially explained had a deleted scene been kept. In this scene, Grandpa Fred initially thinks that the Gremlins are some puppets introduced by his studio and carries on presenting. He improvises and presents his show as "Grandpa Fred and his friends", which the Gremlins like and turn to face the camera alongside him.
Daffy, George and Lennie all are able to attack and terrify Microwave Marge under bright studio lights with no ill effects.
When Daffy attacks Microwave Marge, he emerges from a pot filled with vegetables and broth, which was made largely of water, yet he doesn't spawn any new Gremlins until the sprinkler system is activated.
