There was much ado just as Barry and Iris went to say “I do” during Night 1 of the Arrowverse’s “Crisis on Earth-x” crossover event.

So on which side of the church do the Earth-x Nazis sit?
The CW’s annual Arrowverse crossover kicks off with the wedding of The Flash lovebirds Barry Allen and Iris West on Monday’s Supergirl — but it’s not long before the happy occasion is rudely interrupted by Earth-x Nazis and evil doppelgängers Dark Arrow, Dark Flash and Overgirl.
The ensuing battle feels like “a four-hour escape,” Arrow star Stephen Amell describes. “There are some through-line storylines like Oliver and Felicity’s relationship, and Barry and Iris’ relationship, and what’s going on with Sara, what’s going...

There's a big DC Universe crossover event called Crisis on Earth-x coming to The CW soon that will include characters from Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. It sounds like it's going to be quite an epic spectacle as there are going to be over 20 heroes gathered together in one scene!
The scene apparently will take place on board the bridge of the time-traveling spacecraft known as the Waverider. When talking about the crossover event in an interview with Cb, Brandon Routh says:
"I have a limited adventure in the crossover, but I do get to work with a few people that we had a good time. The best thing that we got to do was the big gathering of everyone here in our world, on the Waverider, which was pretty awesome to have all of those superheroes together, and it was a really unique and fun thing...

As is the case with any TV series, you have your standout characters that steal the show whenever they appear on screen. Perhaps you’ll agree with me here, because, in my opinion, Captain Cold and Heat Wave have risen above the rest of the pack when it comes to Legends of Tomorrow. Played by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, respectively, these two thieves-turned-heroes went from being relatively unknown to the mainstream to being household names thanks to some fine performances.
Unfortunately, Miller’s Leonard Snart met his end in season 1’s finale, but with this being a time traveling show, he returned in season 2 – albeit in a different capacity. You see, the Legion of Doom plucked him from earlier in the timeline, right before he signed up with Rip Hunter and the others. Thus, we met a more ruthless version of him, much to the chagrin of the ever-evolving Mick Rory.

Here's the problem with Legends Of Tomorrow: when your premise is this packed with ridiculousness, your margin for error is pretty slim. The show has been incredibly strong for the better part of two seasons, but it's still fundamentally a show about a group of goofball time travellers played as an action comedy, and that road is full of pitfalls. Time travel is fundamentally terrible. Comedy is really hard. And stuffing dialogue into both of those themes, even separately, has the potential to be wooden, stilted, too infodumpy or just lazy.

With the “super season” now being just three weeks away from officially commencing, The CW is finally rolling out more substantial teasers for each respective Arrowverse series. Not long ago, we were treated to another trailer for Legends of Tomorrow, with the latest surprise coming in the form of a new batch of images.
From what we can tell, time is still “broken” in the scenes these photos were culled from. We say that because there’s really no other explanation as to why Julius Caesar would be confronting Heat Wave on the beach. Normally, you wouldn’t see such a thing unless you were seriously inebriated – something not unfamiliar to Mick Rory – but in this case, we’re inclined to believe that he’s sober enough. Thus, it’s probably safe to assume that time is quite out of joint.

While Legends of Tomorrow has had its core characters in the form of White Canary, the Atom, Firestorm and Heat Wave, there have been those who have come through the door and brought something different to the table. Most notably, season 1 prominently featured Hawkman and Hawkgirl, but upon their exit, they were replaced by Vixen and Citizen Steel at the beginning of the show’s sophomore run.
Oddly enough, this Vixen wasn’t the same one that we got to know via Arrow and the animated web series, but rather, Mari McCabe’s grandmother, Amaya (don’t forget this is a time traveling show). Actually, this had everything to do with original actress Megalyn Ek not being available, so rather than recast, the producers decided to broaden the Vixen mythology by bringing in Maisie Richardson-Sellers, thus leaving the door open for Megalyn’s return.

DC Legends is going to be coming back this October and one of the characters is going to be undergoing a rather radical change. Captain Cold will be turning villain again, and not so long after he’d been seen as the antihero and then the hero. This sudden shift in focus is going to be devastating for his team, especially Heat Wave. Executive producer Phil Klemmer had this to say: “It will be about as polar opposite as the Snart that he’s played on our show. We’ve got a cool pitch to justify that version of him, which I don’t

Okay, let’s get something out of the way before I proceed any further: I love DC. I love the Arrowverse. Heck, I regularly cosplay as the Green Arrow and do a fine job of it. Still, I can’t help but be highly indifferent when it comes to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, a series that I find to be a lot of fun but doesn’t quite reach the bar that its brethren in Arrow and The Flash do.
My reasoning is that while the cast obviously has a blast shooting this (Dominic Purcell’s Heat Wave easily steals the show) and most episodes provide for some thrilling science fiction adventures, it’d be hard to identify it as a DC show if you took words such as “Firestorm,” “the Atom,” and “Vixen” out of a number of the teleplays. Put quite simply, I think the producers try...

Celebrity hair trends are usually pretty predictable, tending to center around achieving that perfectly faded ombré, a freshly chopped lob, or finally achieving that covetable Blake Lively shade of bronde. But this year, when it comes to the hot new dos it seems all bets are off and the look of the season is anything but predictable. Not only are a number of your favs suddenly dyeing their hair a vibrant shade of rosé, but people like Katy Perry, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, and Kristen Stewart are all chopping their hair into pixie cuts or going all in and shaving it off completely.

It’s hard to imagine Vixen as a member of the DC Universe for over 35 years now, an early victim of the DC Implosion before arriving as a guest-star in Action Comics. She’s been a constant presence if not a major one, but was exactly in the range of secondary characters ripe for development for television since her powers were not entirely special effects-laden.
Interestingly, she was brought to The CW through their CW Seed website, a way to expand the Arrowverse with original content. In 2015, there were six short animated episodes that performed well enough that a second season arrived last October. The dozen episodes have now been edited into a 78-minute feature, Vixen the Movie, out now from Warner Home Entertainment.

There are only two episodes left for The Flash this year, and next week's episode includes the fan favorite Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). Before I get into theories and random thoughts, Be sure to have a look at the trailer for Episode 21: "Infantino Street."
So, if you followed Legends of Tomorrow, you know that Captain Cold died a hero. Eobard Thawne (Reverse-Flash) pulled him from the time stream in Legend's Season 2 ender. If you have followed the CW shows, you will know that Captain Cold is gone from this time existence. During the conclusion on Legends he was plopped back into his main story. However, time is now broken. Does this mean that Cold never joined with Legends? Is Cold himself a Time Remnant? Or did Barry (Bart -- I loved that reference btw) do another time run and fetch him?...

Seeing as how Harley Quinn Vol. 6: Black, White and Red All Over is the final volume to collect the New 52 run in hardcover, I would like to give some background and say what it’s meant to me personally. Before Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti took the reins, I honestly wasn’t a fan of Harley Quinn. I mean, I understood her place in the Batman mythos, but felt her to be somewhat one-dimensional when she was Joker’s henchgirl.
But now, she’s independent. She has her own supporting cast. She’s reformed. Not only that, but every issue is simultaneously funny, irreverent, intriguing, and blurs the lines between physical comedy and ultra-violence. What’s not to love?
Picking up shortly after her less than amicable split with the Joker, Harley finds herself headed back to Coney Island,...

“My sense is that if Snart comes back into the storyline via his present day incarnation, then he’s a straight up villain. He hasn’t gone on that first season Legends of Tomorrow journey yet, so when we meet him again — quote unquote alive in 2017 — I imagine that he’s going to be much like when we first met him the first season on The Flash, which I’m looking forward to, because it means I get to arc to a completely different place.”

That’s when Prison Break actors Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller found themselves working together, and kicked around the idea of doing another season of the Fox series again. The conversation carried over to creator Paul T Scheuring who not only took inspiration from Homer’s Odyssey, but was attracted to the idea of doing a…...

Oh my god, is there a TV Injustice Society?!?
It makes sense that there would be. Or at least *pushes up glasses, straightens pocket protector* an Injustice Gang. Or perhaps, as the show is going to call them, a Legion of Doom. Legends Of Tomorrow is a show that functions as the equivalent of the DC TV Universe’s Justice League, with heroes from Arrow (Sara, Ray) and The Flash (Mick, Jax, Stein). So having the villains from Arrow and Flash team up is entirely rational and predictable, but that did not stop me from squealing like an anthropomorphic pig who won on The Price Is Right when Malcolm Merlyn showed up.

Still riding high after last week’s DC TV crossover, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow looks to carry that momentum into what will hopefully be a strong midseason finale in “The Chicago Way.”
In the video embedded at the top, executive producer Marc Guggenheim gives us a general idea what to expect from tonight’s episode when the Legends travel back to, you guessed it, prohibition era Chicago. While there, you can anticipate seeing Dominic Purcell continue to steal every scene with his awesome interpretation of Heat Wave. Not only that, but the Legion of Doom will seemingly add to their ranks – which already include The Reverse Flash and Damien Darhk – with the addition of Malcolm Merlyn and, quite possibly, a returning Captain Cold.
The second visual offering sees the Waverider crew break up some shady activity that Al Capone is engaging in down at the docks (where else?) in a rather action-packed sequence.

It's tough to review these crossover episodes every year. There are so many moving parts to get the casts of two or three, let alone four shows together, right in the middle of their seasons, while they're all right in the thick of their own storylines that it's bound to cause problems. And The Flash's chapter Invasion! definitely shows some signs of that.
But seriously. Who cares, right? The only way to judge an hour of TV like this one is on how it makes you feel, and in my case, to the surprise of absolutely nobody reading this,...

Aside from the four-way DC TV crossover taking place this coming week and the return of Captain Cold in the episode to follow, there’s much more on the horizon for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Although, with season 2 recently having been increased to 17 episodes, we wouldn’t expect any less.
Conspicuous by his absence for much of the current season is Rip Hunter, who led the Waverider crew for the entirety of the first outing. Since being displaced somewhere in time, Sara Lance has stepped up to assume his vacated position while all are left wondering whatever became of him.

Unfortunately, there will be no new episodes of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow this week, but on the plus side, we’re just days away from The CW’s highly anticipated four night crossover. Kicking off with Supergirl on Monday and the continuing in The Flash and the shows mentioned above, it will pit the DC Comics characters against a horde of alien invaders known as The Dominators, and if this promo makes one thing clear, it’s that the whole planet is at stake as they go to war with our heroes.
Of course, it’s not Supergirl’s world that she’s been enlisted to protect, and it will be a lot of fun seeing her interact with characters like Green Arrow and Heat Wave. The latter doesn’t seem too impressed by the Girl of Steel in the video above, though she quickly puts the Legend in...

Here, we get to see Supergirl and Heat Wave having a very interesting exchange, and well, it doesn't seem as if he's a big fan of the Girl of Steel's heroic moniker! It’S Heroes Vs. Aliens In...

One of the most exciting things about the upcoming DC TV crossover on The CW is going to be seeing all of the characters we know and love come together for the first time. Some have met before, but most haven't crossed paths before now. That's something we get a taste of in the image below as we see the Green Arrow alongside the likes of Citizen Steel, Heat Wave, Vixen, The Atom, and Supergirl. It's worth noting that not only does Citizen Steel have a brand new costume, but Ray Palmer seems to be wearing the suit he puts under his Atom armour. He'll clearly get that back sooner rather than later then despite currently attempting to take on the role of Captain Cold in Legends of Tomorrow. Oh, and the shot of Diggle seemingly going after Green Arrow and The Flash is obviously also pretty intriguing! What is...

Tonight's episode of Legends of Tomorrow will take the team to the 1980s, but will Ray Palmer once again be left on the Waverider? Not if Heat Wave has anything to say about it! Despite the fact that The Atom suit has been destoryed, Ray still wants to be a hero, but he could be about to embark on a slightly darker path now that he's been given the deceased Captain Cold's freeze gun and goggles. How long this status quo will last for Ray remains to be seen, but it's a pretty fun direction to take the character in until he can somehow be reunited with his suit (and not a bad way for The CW to save money on special effects for a few weeks). We know that Captain Cold is going to return to Legends of Tomorrow as a member of the Legion of Doom, so he'll...

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has just released a new promo!
Talk about exciting. Oh the places they will go.
To get things started, not only will they be visiting some point in the history of France, but the Queen? She'll find our Sara Lance quite fetching. Just how fetching? Ahem.
Did we have any doubt our girl could attract royalty??
Now, you'd think it would be really exciting for Professor Stein to meet someone like Einstein, right?
Except, Mick likes him. Because Einstein is a bit of a pig.
He's got a way with the ladies, it appears, and his outlandish behavior will do the team some good.
Their plot, by listening to just a snippet, is to kidnap the guy. This gives Our Stein a chance to do something very unlike him.
Other sources said they saw Reverse Flash somewhere in this promo, but God help me, I couldn't find him.

The CW has released a brand new promo for Legends of Tomorrow, and it’s packed full of never before seen footage from the series. While the bulk of the preview revolves around the team – who are now essentially serving as the multiverse’s Time Masters – meeting up with a variety of historical figures, keep your eyes peeled and you’ll notice a couple of very cool surprises.
For starters, we get our first look at Stargirl (Sarah Grey) heading into action alongside Heat Wave during World War II. As you may already know, she’s a member of the Justice Society of America, a superhero team that hails from that time period. As Stargirl, Courtney Whitmore wields Starman’s cosmic staff and wears the Cosmic Converter Belt, which offers her enhanced agility and strength among other abilities.
Another relatively big reveal comes when we see the Reverse-Flash threatening an unknown character.

However, that's not the highlight as you'll also spot a blink and you'll miss it shot of Stargirl in action alongside Heat Wave. Her costume looks pretty basic, but bear in mind that the hero hails from WWII! Also pretty intriguing is a scene where the Reverse-Flash strangles a mysterious figure. The villain - who is probably able to appear here thanks to the events of Flashpoint - is going to be a member of the Legion of Doom in Legends of Tomorrow season two, so he's clearly up to something sinister. This past week has been something of a treasure trove for DC fans. In addition to the news that Deathstroke would be the main villain in the upcoming Ben Affleck-directed standalone Batman film, there were rumors floating around that the standalone Flash film, starring Ezra Miller, would feature the Rogues as the main baddies of the piece.
