Dark HK Cinema That Entertains!
Movie-Misfit13 November 2015
Never Say Regret is one of those edgy, dark and twisted films that came about in the golden age of Hong Kong cinema.

Starring the amazing Yukari Oshima as a Japanese girl wrongfully accused, we are given a few small fight scuffles in the first 45 minutes due to the twisted drama of what goes down in the mainland prison... And with the late, great, Big Silly Head (Shing Fui On) as the prison warden, you can only imagine how nice it is for her!

While in prison, she meets a friend played by Kara Hui (the one and only) who sticks more to the drama than the action in this one.

Meanwhile, a team of men in the form of legends Eddie Ko, Dick Wei and the handsome Max Mok, set out to rescue her. This is where the action all kicks off, directed by Yuen Bun, and we are treated to some fantastic and bloody fight scenes that keep the film treading in the Cat 3 side of things.

Never Say Regret is not perfect, but it is damn good and well worth seeing for fans of the Osh and Hong Kong cinema!
