In the brief period between the end of Craig Ferguson’s tenure as the host of CBS’s Late Late Show and when James Corden picked up the reins as its host in early 2015, the Eye had a random smattering of guest hosts take over to avoid an extended period of reruns. Though many of those episodes were standard, unremarkable late-night fare, one of them still stands out nearly a decade later. Hosted by actor-comedian Adam Pally, with fellow comic and friend Ben Schwartz serving as his sidekick, the result was a hilarious and inexplicable hour of television that has to be seen to be believed.

Zoro’s left eye, which has been closed for a while now, has had many theories developed around it. He first appeared with a missing left eye in One Piece after completing his training with Mihawk during the time skip. Some fans believe that he was injured during his training with Mihawk, while some believe he keeps it shut so that he can improve his precision.
Zoro’s Missing Eye
Knowing Eiichiro Oda’s habit of foreshadowing, One Piece fans think his left eye has some kind of significance that will be revealed later on to enhance his character in some way. Zoro perfected almost all of his abilities when he was training with Mihawk. He was not only able to polish his swordsman skills but also learn the Haki abilities.

Adding “entrepreneur” to one’s resume unsurprisingly tops the wish list of many Hollywood stars these days — and why not, when Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Jay-Z are just a few megawatt names who have transformed the blend of celebrity partnership and business acumen into multibillion-dollar success stories?
Indeed, there’s no shortage these days of brand incubators seeking to align stars with innovative products, from El Segundo-based Beach House Group to Manhattan-based beauty incubator Maesa and Los Angeles-based A-Frame, which boasts such launches as Loved01 skincare with John Legend as the face of the brand.
For stars seeking new opportunities and a streamlined process, another high-powered and inventive player in the brand-builder space is CAA-backed Caravan, a business incubator that specializes in matching start-up companies with high-wattage entertainers and athletes.

If you’ve been keeping up with The Test of Time, you have probably learned what the rules are in terms of what we tackle. Those rules, of course, are that there are no rules whatsoever and we cover whatever sounds good or we think would be an interesting topic. In the Mouth of Madness (watch it Here) came out in Italy in late 1994 and that means, gulp, that movie is now 30 years old. It came during an interesting time in the master of horrors career when he was running flop after flop and being disappointed by studios interference and stars that weren’t willing to be true collaborators. It’s the ending of a loose trilogy and in some people’s estimation his last great film. Is In the Mouth of Madness a tale that stands the Test of Time, or should it be put in the bargain bin...

Queer Eye has found Bobby Berk‘s replacement in the Fab Five. Jeremiah Brent will now serve as the interior design expert following Berk’s exit in Season 8. Netflix announced Brent’s casting on Tuesday, February 27, simultaneously revealing that Queer Eye Season 9 will film in Las Vegas. Production will begin this spring. Viewers may know Brent from his work on Netflix’s reality series Say I Do: Surprise Weddings and HGTV’s Home Town Kickstart and The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project, which co-stars his husband, fellow interior designer Nate Berkus. Brent joins original cast members Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Antoni Porowski. Queer Eye Season 8, which premiered on January 24, was Berk’s final season. Berk revealed ahead of Season 8’s release that the Fab Five had signed on for seven seasons at first and they all said their goodbyes after filming wrapped on Season 7. Cillian Murphy recently had some choice words for his film Red Eye (watch it Here), a Wes Craven-directed thriller that was released back in 2005. But he wasn’t entirely negative. So that got me thinking: Is Red Eye a good film? Or is it more in the so bad it’s good category? I personally saw Red Eye in theaters and have always had a soft spot for it. But if Oppenheimer‘s own Cillian Murphy has an issue with it, maybe it’s worth a second gander. So let’s see whether it’s good, bad, or somewhere in between as we revisit Red Eye in the video embedded above!
Scripted by Carl Ellsworth, who crafted the story with Dan Foos, Red Eye has the following synopsis: In the wake of her grandmother’s funeral, hotel manager Lisa Reisert is waiting to fly back home when she meets charming Jackson Rippner at check-in.

Naruto is one of the greatest anime to be ever made. Masashi Kishimoto created a generational fiction that would pave the road for the manga and anime industry towards a path of glory. The journey of Naruto Uzumaki becoming the Hokage after being rejected by the entire Hidden Leaf Village is a must-watch for all.
But even one of the Big Three of anime has a bad reputation for having several filler episodes. Most of the time, these filler episodes turned out to be filler arcs, which angered the fans. Out of the Big Three, it is the one with the most fillers. But a few of the fillers add weight to the characters and are fun to watch. Let us see five of the Naruto fillers that have had a massive impact on a character’s development.

Whether you want a feel-good escape from reality or to embroil yourself in drama you would never experience in your daily life, TV has got you covered.
But what happens when the world you see onscreen is overshadowed by what's going on behind the cameras?
If you've ever had a favorite show hit by scandal, you might have noticed it affected how you watched the show -- for better or worse.
The Curious Case of Queer Eye Season 8

Blue Eye Samurai became one of the most popular shows of 2023. Since its announcement, there has been a rumor going on about how the series would exceed everyone’s expectations. In most cases, over-expectations result in disappointment, but not in Blue Eye Samurai’s case. It became one of the top show streaming series on Netflix, and the fans are eagerly waiting for the second season.
It has been a few months since the series concluded season one. But it again made the headlines after the Annie Awards went on air. The series wreaked havoc at the award show and won multiple awards. While it was an amazing series, few people expected it to win so many awards. Blue Eye Samurai bagged six different awards at the 2024 Annie Awards.

When I think about Matthew Vaughn's directing career, the image that primarily comes to mind is that of a provocateur, a filmmaker who enjoys prodding his audience a little while bucking familiar conventions. He famously did that with "Kick-Ass" in 2010, doubled down on provocation with the "Kingsman" movies, and is poised to do it again with his latest spy film, "Argylle," which hits theaters today. He seems to prefer entering through the side door rather than taking a head-on approach, opting for more unorthodox methods of storytelling wherever possible.
But that wasn't always the case. 2007's "Stardust," Vaughn's second directorial feature, does not have the cultural reputation as some of his other films, but upon rewatch, it was surprising to see Vaughn operating in a more straightforward zone -- one that doesn't seem as desperate to push the envelope and is confident enough in the nuts and bolts...

A new episode of the Revisited video series has just made its way online, and with this one we’re celebrating the birthday of the late, great director Tobe Hooper by looking at one of his more underrated horror films: the 2004 release Toolbox Murders (watch it Here)! You can hear all about it in the embed above.
Toolbox Murders is technically a remake of the 1978 film The Toolbox Murders, but it’s very different from the source material. Written by Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch, this one has the following synopsis: Young couple Steve and Nell move into a once fashionable, but now decaying, apartment block in Los Angeles, and soon realise that a number of young female residents have met unusually violent deaths. Before long, Nell makes some disturbing discoveries about the building’s manager and her fellow tenants.

Ultimately, Hawk-Eye is a technology system that tracks ball flight and determines close-line calls in the game. The computerised system provides an animated image showing where a ball would have landed via an action replay to eliminate wrong decisions from line judges and umpires.
Despite its level of accuracy in the sport, Hawk-Eye has caused some controversy. Even though it has been in operation since 2006, the technology system produces some errors , which have led to player frustrations in recent years.
As a result, debates have arisen about the use of Hawk-Eye in tennis and whether it is still relevant in the game.

You would think that Jennifer Lane, showrunner for the long-running and beloved Netflix reality hit reboot “Queer Eye,” would be a little bit blase’ by now about this Emmy stuff. Both she and her show have, after all, won in the Best Structured Reality Program category a record five consecutive years going back to 2018, receiving 35 Emmy bids and 10 triumphs all told for its seven seasons. It earned six more noms this time, including once again in the reality program category as well as for its hosts known collectively as the Fab Five and a first-time honor for director Ali Moghadas. But it turns out that Lane isn’t indifferent to any of this at all. “It doesn’t ever get old, and I’m proud because it’s hard to get good (stuff) in reality,” she says. “People don’t realize it’s like we’re dancing backwards in high-heel shoes.

The show also marked the live debut of a cover of The Stooges’ “T.V. Eye,” sung by bassist Duff McKagan.
All told, the band played nine songs from Appetite for Destruction, including classics like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

CBS is supersizing two of its signature reality franchises: “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” will permanently expand to 90-minute episodes next season, the network announced Thursday morning as it unveiled its 2023-2024 TV lineup.
The Eye network went first with its fall plans, but there’s a caveat to it all: The writers strike means it’s very likely that primetime won’t look at all like this come September. And indeed, CBS already has contingency plans in place, including several unscripted series waiting in the wings.
But for now, CBS will head into fall with a primetime schedule that looks nearly identical to its current one. The Wednesday switch to just “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race,” for example, simply takes the night’s current 10 p.m. inhabitant, the canceled “True Lies,” out of the equation. Last fall, CBS opened the season with three reality shows on the night: “Survivor,...

Who knew movie-goers had such a hunger for movies about animals on cocaine-fuelled rampages? In less than two weeks of release, director Elizabeth Banks’ Cocaine Bear (read our review Here) has racked up over $50 million at the box office. In the build-up to the release of that film, a news report about New Zealand police recovering more than three tons of cocaine that was found floating in the Pacific Ocean got people talking about the possibility of a Cocaine Shark movie… and the idea was even passed along to Banks, who said, “Jaws with cocaine, I don’t see how that loses.” But as it turns out, Banks has been beaten to the Cocaine Shark idea by prolific low budget filmmaker Mark Polonia, whose own Cocaine Shark movie is so far along that it has already secured a distribution deal with Wild Eye Releasing, and a trailer is already online!

It’s time for a new episode of the Black Sheep video series, and in this one we’re looking back at a cool horror anthology from 1993 called Body Bags (watch it Here), a movie made up of segments directed by John Carpenter and Tobe Hooper, featuring cameos from the likes of Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, and Roger Corman. To find out why we think Body Bags deserves to be more popular than it is, check out the video embedded above!
Body Bags was made for Showtime and was supposed to be the start of an anthology series, their version of Tales from the Crypt. But this movie is all we ever got out of that idea. It’s a shame this didn’t become a series, especially since it’s hosted by Carpenter himself, hamming it up as a character called The Coroner. The film has the following synopsis:...

Guillermo del Toro’s “Cabinet of Curiosities” brings back the underrated anthology series host trope that helps celebrate the nature of storytelling.
When it comes to the versatile nature of anthology shows, one of the biggest selling points of the genre is that every episode tells a completely original story. It’s easy to get lost in the stories, but the best anthology shows understand that the act of storytelling itself is just as important to the experience. Stories can be found anywhere, but the process of being a storyteller is akin to being human. Man has been telling stories since its very existence and without storytellers, society would be left in arrested development. Granted, every piece of television technically tells a story, but it’s anthology shows that have the rare tradition of engaging with the audience on a personal level as if they’re trading stories around a campfire,...
