Run away, darling!

Warning: Spoilers
Once asked on a talk show about one very bad film he had seen, Saif Ali Khan humorously replied, "Aao Pyaar Karen", a film he himself starred in. And yes, the movie is indeed very weak and those were the days when Khan himself was not at his best, though he had the same kind of sense of humour. The movie sees Khan trying to win his grandmother's affection after the death of his parents. The grandmother and her husband disapproved of their marriage and swore to never let them in. Now Khan's Raja has a mission, and there's one young girl who lives in the house, Chhaya, who is there to help him. Predictably, the two fall in love. Aao Pyar Karen is not a complete waste of time as it has its funny moments, but they are few and are not enough to redeem this poor script. Saif Ali Khan is a good hero for this film, and Shilpa Shetty is charming and as beautiful as she is in most of her films. Aao Pyar Karen is one of the first films of their careers, I'm sure they want to forget it. Overall a typical melodramatic film, not recommended.

Predictable, cliched and stereotyped.

Aao Pyaar Karen is a romantic drama film directed by Ravindra Peepat. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Somy Ali, Bharati, Mukesh Khanna, Gulshan Grover and Prem Chopra.

Wealthy Raja wants to marry a poor girl just like his father but his grandmother opposes the match. The cycle of estrangement repeats itself as he chooses love over money.

This film can't be termed as a terrible film but overall the film fails to entertains. The film has the story line of rich boy and poor girl which Indian cinema is following since ages and nothing new in this film as this film is also very predictably made with cliched execution.

Acting in the film is average and apart from Mukesh Khanna and to some extent Prem Chopra everyone looked just average.

Music of the film is superb and probably the only saving grace of the film. Screenplay of the film is predictable and stereotyped and so as the climax.

There is no reason to watch this film as Indian cinema has produced some good films on this theme and it's better to avoid this film.
