Over the course of her incredibly fast rise in the modeling world from “supermodel-in-training” to “bonafide superstar,” Kendall Jenner has earned plenty of comparisons to that generation of supermodels who came before her. While the juxtaposition has been the cause of copious amounts of controversy for her and her fellow Instagram It Girls, given that she has now appeared on just about every catwalk and magazine cover the world over, it seems safe to say that this debate can finally be put to bed. And as if all that wasn’t enough, she can now hammer the final nail in...

Do they really gain a freckle for every soul that they steal? Perhaps not, but the ones on this list sure have one for every heart that they’ve broken. Despite growing up and being ridiculed, the so-called “albinos of the white people” – psshh, because you know, albinos don’t exist in white people (please detect the sarcasm) – seem to be taking over the world. Some of us blame Harry Potter. Others blame Prince Harry. Either way, a Harry was involved in this.
Jokes aside, gingers have really always been the butt of many jokes, some friendly, some unnecessarily mean, but very few really expected them to turn out so good-looking. Catwalk material even. Who would have thought?
Yet, some are modelling for Givenchy. Versace. Valentino, Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gaultier and Alexander McQueen, even. Which just makes regular brown and blonde-haired folk even more suspicious that...

Let's call this a supermodel power pair. Catwalk heavyweights Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn are starring in Burberry's Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, and the British beauties are bringing it. (Did you expect otherwise?) The campaign shots show Naomi and Jourdan nuzzling up in printed trench coats (Jourdan's coat is cinched with what looks like a chic peony-hued scarf). Burberry's signature print is featured in the pint-sized handbags on each of the models' arms. Naomi and Jourdan, while a generation apart, serve up identical pouts in the photos, which were shot by fashion photographer Mario Testino in London. (Testino, it seems, was in-demand for S/S 2015 campaigns: He's also behind...

Comedian Chris Tucker played the flamboyant talk show host Ruby Rhod in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element. At times it feels like a Prince impersonation — but maybe that’s because the music artist was offered a chance to play the outrageous character. French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, known for crafting some of fashion’s most shocking works, created the costumes for the sci-fi film. It seems that Gaultier’s getup for Ruby was even too much for Prince. Exhibit The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk is currently at the Brooklyn Museum, which is where website io9 learned what the androgynous singer thought of the fishnet-and-feathers ensemble: “Still not saying anything, Prince gave me this...

City attempts makeover with change of venue and renewed focus on model health in bid to boost media coverage
It is hard to overshadow Milan fashion week. The city's commitment to glamour is such that, at one of Dolce & Gabbana's shows, even the trainers featured killer heels. Catwalk shows by Versace, Gucci and D&G packed in to consecutive days are usually more than enough to ensure a constant supply of celebrity, bare skin, mink and gossip – often, all in one photo opportunity.
Milan fashion, however, is this week on a collision course with the Oscars, which take place on Sunday evening – hours after the Dolce & Gabbana show, and shortly before Giorgio Armani's. In a bid to compete for media coverage with the Oscars red carpet, Milan is pulling out all the stops.
MaxMara led the charge in the morning, bringing Hollywood glamour to the show by securing Katie Holmes for the front row.

Designers Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava at Full Frontal Fashion's "Catwalk Countdown" launch party. Photograph by Sara Jaye Weiss. Despite some major competition—a Chanel dinner and an opulent Hermes store opening—the Sundance Channel managed to pull off one of the earliest successes of this season’s New York Fashion Week with last night’s Full Frontal Fashion party. Held at the so-new-it’s-not-even-named space adjacent to the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel, the event marked the launch of Fff’s new webisode series, “Catwalk Countdown,” which follows a handful of New York designers as they prepare for the season. Whether it was curiosity about the space—a swimming pool in a bar/lounge?—or a wicked case of cabin studio fever, most of the featured designers sacrificed some of their precious last-minute prep time to make an appearance. Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai,...

The Clic Bookstore and Gallery. The cover of Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died. A little-known bookshop in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood has suddenly emerged as the most popular pick for authors in search of a space for their book-signing parties. Earlier this month, Clic Bookstore and Gallery played host to Robert Risko and the editors of Vanity Fair as they celebrated Vanity Fair's Proust Questionnaire, and this Thursday, Vogue creative director, Grace Coddington, will sign copies of her book Catwalk Cats at the cozy, whitewashed space. The Clic’s main attraction last week, however, was a party thrown in honor of Christophe von Hohenberg’s book Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died, a photographic record of the famous pop artist’s funeral. On April 1, 1987, stars from the worlds of art, fashion, and Hollywood, including Yoko Ono, David Hockney, and Bianca Jagger, gathered at St.
