When Flabber's old friend, The Phantom of the Opera, shows up needing a place to stay, the stage is set for trouble. The lonely Phantom turns his affections toward Jo and places her under a spell to get her to leave with him. Meanwhile, the unwavering terrible trio is doing its old song and dance again. Will the BeetleBorgs be able to stop Jo and the Magnavors before it's too late?

Dr. Frankenbeans returns to Hillhurst to repair young Frankenbeans' defective brain and turns him into a genius! Unfortunately however, he has lost his heart and soul in the process. Not only that, Vexor has the BeetleBorgs so busy that their alter-egos are falling behind in their schoolwork. But when Frankenbeans gets hit in the head and returns to his old self, he and the gang help the kids study for a big test. The kids make the grade and Vexor is put to rest, again.

Flabber, the house monsters and the kids try to save Mums when he gets "mum-napped" by the same archaeologist who originally found the tomb. Also an artifact that was stolen by the fortune-seekers contains a curse that it is making their lives miserable! The only way they know how to nullify the curse is to return Mums to his tomb. Will the BeetleBorgs be able to reunite Mums with the tomb and the artifact?

Eerie noises are looming over the cemetery, and old man Hillhurst leaves to return to his old home. There's only one glitch...he wants Flabber and the gang out right away! Meanwhile, Roland's mom, Abbie, reluctantly takes a job at Zoom Comics. The BeetleBorgs and the gang save the day by restoring peace in the cemetery, sending old man Hillhurst back to the hills and giving Abbie the magical nudge she needs to take care of the store!

When the house monsters can't agree on which of them is the scariest, Flabber scares up a frightening contest that leaves Jo feeling, well, not quite like herself. Meanwhile, the terrible trio intercepts the comic delivery guy to grab the new issue, and extracts the heinous Hammerhands to smash Hillhurst. The Borgs must free a kidnapped Dudley and send Hammerhands back into the comics before he destroys Hillhurst.

It's Wolfgang's favorite time of the month, the night of a full moon, and the other house monsters are trying to prevent Wolfgang from getting out. Despite their efforts, he escapes and when he runs into Jara, he bites her and she immediately turns into a she-wolf! In hopes of saving her, Flabber makes a silver dart that will reverse the menacing metamorphosis if they can catch her before itÂ's too late.

Trip and Van plan to become famous by catching the legendary fish named Charterville Charlie. Vexor pulls a new monster from a unreleased comic book (so the kids won't recognize the creature) and plans to flood Charterville. The kids battle the big fish all the way downstream through town until the Borgs finally cast the kids a safety line and send the crazy fish back to the comics.

Baron Von Frankenbeans pieces together a bride for young Frankenbeans and brings her to life. While the terrible trio scheme to ruin the wedding by sending the Red Crasher, the bride discovers that the Baron has promised his fortune to Frankenbeans as a wedding gift. But of course this big, red beast is no match for the BeetleBorgs. For the finale, Frankenbeans' bride discovers the fortune is far smaller than she expected, so she leaves him standing at the altar.

Flabber is upset that he might lose his roommate Fangula since he's been neglecting his vampire duties. Vlad, the Commissioner of Vampires, is ready to take Fangula back to Transylvania's land of the permanently dead. Flabber convinces the kids to help by pretending to be Fangula's victims, but the ploy fails miserably when Jo loses her fake fangs. After a drawn out confrontation, Vlad declares that since Flabber defended him, he can stay at Hillhurst.

While Mums and Fangula argue over which of them is scarier than the other, Wolfie searches Flabber's book for a spell to switch people' s bodies. When the Magnavors ambush the kids at Hillhurst, Fangula casts his spell which accidentally switches the kids and the Magnavors bodies! Even more disturbing is the fact that the Magnavors discover that they can morph into the BeetleBorgs!

Vexor commands Combat Gnat to spy on Hillhurst when Flabber brings a teletransport machine from an old drawing to life. Flabber transports himself to Zoom Comics and shortly thereafter realizes he's morphing into a strange creature. When he remembers that there was a blue bug in the machine with him, he and the kids surmise that his molecular structure merged with Combat Gnat's! The kids decide that the only solution is to send this unpredictable being into the comics, which magically reverses the damage - Flabber is back!

The Magnavors make one too many mistakes and an infuriated Vexor fires all of them. While spying on Hillhurst, Vexor sees the hungry house monsters chasing the kids and decides they'd make great Magnavors. He summons Hypnomaniac to hypnotize the house monsters and capture Flabber. When they learn of Vexor's vile plan, the kids transform to send Hypnomaniac back to the comics and the humbled terrible trio return to Vexor.

A series of mysterious happenings at Hillhurst turn the house monsters into a bunch of superstitious ghouls. They lock the doors of Hillhurst and hide, but the kids manage to get in and chase the monsters for a change! The kids, who suspect the Magnavors are behind the hauntings, are suddenly surprised by the appearance of Evil Eye, a one-eyed comic monster. The BeetleBorgs take charge, send Evil Eye home and find the mischievous Magnavors in the attic.

Jara, Noxic, and Typhus leave an unusual baby on the Hillhurst doorstep. When Mums discovers him, suddenly the entire household is talking like babies. The kids take the baby away, thinking that Nano would be able to take better care of him, which leaves everyone suffering from separation anxiety. Wolfgang soon takes the baby back to Hillhurst where he transforms into Rocket Man. The Borgs battle the beastly baby until he dissolves in a burst of energy.

A new nerd in Jo's class named Norman claims to be from a family of vampire hunters, and says he must get rid of Fangula. When the skeptical kids mention Norman's name to Fangula, they realize Norman was telling the truth. Norman storms Hillhurst and just as he is about to drive a stake through Fangula's heart, a burly beast stops him and makes a deal to let Norman live if Norman lets Fangula live. The deal is struck, and the "beast" morphs back into Flabber.

Flabber is determined to turn his hideous housemates into healthy hard-bodies. Enter Super-Noxic, Noxic's little brother, who arrives at Hillhurst under the guise of "Hurt-ulese," a pumped up personal trainer. Flabber and the kids discover his true identity through the comics and Drew transforms into the Blue Mega Borg to zap him back. Back at Hillhurst, the kids find the house monsters still strapped to fitness equipment and are able to muscle them out.

The author of "Fright Files" thinks that Hillhurst would be a great inspiration for his work and moves in. Meanwhile, Vexor's new power-phaser makes Typhus more powerful and they set off to confront the BeetleBorgs. Drew keeps the author's possessions afloat so he can't settle in at Hillhurst. The author is then accidentally hit with the phaser and he scares the monsters and Flabber so badly that he moves out, claiming Hillhurst isn't that scary after all.

Wolfgang's recurring daydream of causing a mutiny becomes reality when Wolfie accidentally returns Flabber to the pipe organ where he gets stuck. Vexor and the Magnavors burglarize Art FortunesÂ' studio and take comics featuring Nukus, a very intelligent creature. They command all the monsters to attack Charterville simultaneously, knowing all the monsters will mold into one giant monster Â- Borgslayer Â- who defeats the BeetleBorgs!

The BeetleBorgs take a beating from Borgslayer and finally escape to Hillhurst where they must rescue Flabber from the organ and Art from the monsters. Things look bleak for the BeetleBorgs until Nukus tells Trip and Van the secret to defeating Borgslayer - joining fire forces. When the BeetleBorgs try this trick, Borgslayer, Vexor and the terrible trio are sucked into a giant fire vortex. The kids, however, are unaware of Nukus who is anticipating his next move...

When Nukus defeats the BeetleBorgs, only their civilian powers remain. Art Fortunes tells Nukus about his brother, Les, an evil cartoonist who is locked away in Charterville Prison. Nukus heads for the prison while the kids try to stop the frozen Flabber from melting away by reading spells from Flabber's handbook. But instead, they end up turning themselves into bugs and discover that they can transform into bugs whenever they want.

The BeetleBorgs retreat from the Worm Tank only to encounter Nukus, Horribelle and Vilor, so they transform into bugs to escape. At Hillhurst, Flabber whips the monsters into shape, but Horribelle manages to invade Hillhurst and kidnap Art. The kids buzz into the studio and rescue Art just in time for him to draw a new Beetle Battle Station and defense vehicles so the kids can beat the Worm Tanks.

Nukus releases Les Fortunes' latest creation, Hagfish of Gar, a fish-like creature. Forewarned by Wolfie's keen hearing and Fangula's knowledge of the ancient myth, the kids have Art create Sector Cycles. The cycles provide the kids with the advantage they need to save themselves and all the children of Charterville from the evil clutches of the Crustaceans.

Nukus has Les create Chameleon Monster to capture Flabber and steal the power of the BeetleBorgs. Chameleon appears at Hillhurst as Flabber, and traps the real phasm inside a bottle. The kids transform into bugs to watch Chameleon Monster morph back into his evil self. When Chameleon tries to make his escape, the kids transform and send him back into the comics, then rush to release Flabber from the bottle.

Flabber and the House Monsters turn Hillhurst into "The Horror Hotel" to raise money for renovations. Hotel guests including zombies, a swamp creature and a witch doctor mistake the kids for complimentary snacks and chase them into hiding. Meanwhile, Nukus and Horribelle send over their own horrible hotel guest, Botanicus, whose identity is quickly disclosed. A devious Little Ghoul heists all the guests shoes to make Stinky Shoe Soup for everyone at Hillhurst.

Nukus is angry when publisher Rudy McDougal refuses to devote a comic book to his new Brain Sucker monster, and gets even by releasing him in Charterville. Even the resident monsters are afraid - except for Frankenbeans, who doesn't have a brain. Rudy, whose brain has been sucked dry, agrees to publish Brain Sucker Comics in place of BeetleBorgs Metallix! When the Borgs catch the monster at the dam and hurl him into space, everybody gets their brains back!

When Little Ghoul's uncle, The Grim Reaper, comes to town, she tells everyone that Reaper is retiring and needs a replacement. Every monster in town is vying for the prestigious position, including Nukus, who tries (unsuccessfully) to eliminate the competition by having Les create The Monster Smasher. But it turns out that Little Ghoul lied - Reaper is simply looking for a servant! When he proudly offers the position to Flabber, the disappointed phasm politely declines.

After a huge lunch the monsters at Hillhurst fall asleep,but are rudely awakened by a raven,which announces the arrival of the famous writer Edgar Alan Poe. Poe's presence at Hillhurst is followed by a series of weird events, in which nothing is as it seems to be. Meanwhile, Nukus has Les draw up the Mole Monster to steal Edgar's latest book.
