Sailor Lupino Lane goes on shore leave with his messmate Wallace Lupino. Each has a girl in this port. Little do they suspect itey're twin sisters -- the girls, not Wallace and Lupino.
Lupino performs one of his most spectacular, yet standard gags: he runs all around an arch on the inside, upside down for an instant. Add in his splits and spectacular falls, and you have a fine silent comedy. It's also a nice bit of film making in that there are only four titles in the entire twenty minutes; the guys, scions of a long-settled family of clowns, offer enough emphatic miming there's no need for words.
