Merely a preservation of the stars' live act
Janine and Julia Ann memorably teamed as an exotic dancers' act as the duo named Blondage, which Toni English/Kelly Holland recorded here for Vivid Video. I watched a DVD reissue which was evidently cut (20% shorter running time) from the original VHS release.
Hardly any story remains, merely showing the dynamic duo having lesbian sex on stage and backstage too. Final reel has some artificial conflict as a club owner (Steve Drake) tries to break them up and steal away Julia Ann under his own contract, but with his troublemaking accomplice, fellow stripper Leena, finking on him and assuring the duo will have a happy ending together.
Continuity in the short version is understandably poor, but having billed stars like Asia Carrera and Dyanna Lauren reduced to mere momentary cameos performing on stage is very disappointing. The two stars look very young and fresh, particularly Julia Ann, and it is a pleasure to see Janine's beauty before she fell asleep in some tattoo parlor.
Incoherence of the DVD version extends to cryptic overuse of stars Tom Byron and Marc Wallice, who have major roles working in the nightclub and also appear as audience participation players in a three-way on-stage sex scene with Leena.
