Stefan Brogren (Archibald 'Snake' Simpson) was the first person to use the word "fuck" on Canadian television.
The film takes place from June to October 19, 1992.
Stefan Brogren stated in an interview that most of the cast had been put up at a hotel before the big cottage sequence. Being teens, the on-screen parties with drugs and drinking were mirrored at said hotel, and he had been invited to partake but refused, as he considered his confrontation with Joey to be the most important acting of his career, and wished to be lucid and clear-headed for his performance.
One Last Dance (1991) and School's Out! (1992) both end with Joey and Caitlyn dancing together.
