"Tristana" is an 11.5-minute short film from 1987, so this one will have its 30th anniversary next year. If you know Canadian singer Mylène Farmer a bit, you know that her music videos are usually not only longer than usual like this one here too, but also much more spectacular and I guess that's also one reason why so many of them are featured here on IMDb. They are actually music films to some extent. I am a great fan of some of her works, but I cannot say this one here was really interesting to me. Visually, it was still a decent watch and even tries to make a historical impact, which is pretty rare, but it is not entirely successful as such. The song itself is also nothing really memorable, even if Farmer's voice sounds as otherworldly as it almost always does and even if I did not find the melody too catchy, it was still okay to listen to. But I am writing this fairly neutral statement as somebody who likes Farmer a lot more than the usual citizen, which is why I would not recommend this one to neutral audiences.
