The Nat "King" Cole Musical Story is a nice short of the singer's hits being performed on film

Just watched this, a short fictionalized account of singer-pianist Nat "King" Cole's journey from nightclubs to a record contract with some of his songs being performed by him filling some of the 20-minute-running time and a little of it also concerning his health in which he has to be hospitalized for a while. If you're willing to tolerate the datedness of some of that drama, you'll get a treat of him performing some of his hits like "Sweet Lorraine" and "Straighten Up and Fly Right". So on that note, I recommend The Nat "King" Cole Musical Story.
