- The investigation of a kidnapping leads Gabriel Knight (Tim Curry) to the French village of Rennes-Le-Chateau where a dark and sinister mystery lies ready to be solved.
- Gabriel Knight (Tim Curry) and Grace Nakimura (Charity James) are invited by James Steward (Simon Templeman), exiled Prince of Albany, to watch over his infant son. He is concerned about the boy because his family has been plagued for generations by what seem to be a secretive sect of vampires. The first night Gabriel watches guard over the boy, the boy is kidnapped. Gabriel manages to follow the kidnappers to the remote French village of Rennes-Le-Chateau, but on arrival, he loses every trail. His only lead is the tour group that arrived about the same time he did. Gabriel, suspecting every member of the group, continues his investigation and asks for Grace to join him. It turns out that the village of Rennes-Le-Chateau itself is surrounded by a dark, sinister mystery, involving a sacred bloodline, vampires and boundless treasure which steer our hero towards a path that is inescapable.—Leon Zandman
- Gabriel Knight (Tim Curry), the Shadow Hunter, and his assistant Grace Nakimura (Charity James) receive an invitation from a Prince James of Albany (Simon Templeman). Upon arriving there, Prince James explains that there may be night stalkers, possibly vampires, creeping outside of his infant son's nursery at night. Gabriel chases one of them when he finds the baby is snatched away without a trace. Grace joins him in Rennes-le-Chateau, France where their search for the kidnapped baby ties in with not only vampies, but also a treasure hunt involving religious secrets. They spend each hour solving the whole mystery, and once they finally figure it out, the truth long hidden for two thousand years will finally be revealed.—AMovies2002
