Meany, Miny and moe run an airline.... actually, one plane. One of them comes up with their most valuable cargo ever: a bag labeled "$1,000,000 In Diamonds". The one of the three who's flying takes off with the bag. And other cargo, like an ostrich that swallows everything it can.
Given a simple premise, it's a funny cartoon, with a nice variety of gags beyond the basic one i've mentioned. Walter Lantz had high hopes for these three little monkeys, and starred them in several cartoons, but they didn't stick. He wouldn't begin to have another star character to replace Oswald the Lucky Rabbit until Andy Panda showed up..... and then he would hit it big with a certain red-headed woodpecker.
