Krazy Kat tries to get some sleep when the crying kittens have kept her up too long in this late silent Paramount release.
This cartoon shows the triumph of the Felix the Cat model as Krazy goes through a number of Felix-like gags, including using her tail for a number of shape-changing gags. As a whole, this is largely a typical silent film comedy, although several of the gags make use of animation's ability to distort things; one of them, a gag where Krazy carves a Murphy Bed out of the wall using a can opener is a tad less impactful than it might have been as a live-action gag. Another gag, in which Krazy thinks she is being shat upon by birds also demonstrates how what is considered proper for children has changed.
All in all, a well-timed series of gags from directors Manny Gould and Ben Harrison.
