The black sheep gets into a fight with the shepherd, so he's kicked out of the flock. He goes to the nightclub, which inspre the gangsters there to steal the flock and sell them to a wolf.
It's one of the cartoons directed by Harry Bailey and George Rule for Van Beuren, and while it's not one of their best ones, it's lively and they handle the stick-figure character with considerable aplomb., and the simple story with the high-speed contempt it deserves. It goes to show that you can't create a great cartoon o the cheap, but if you take a light-hearted attitude, you can get some charm into the project.
