Who's killing the romantic young leads of the French cinema..?
dbdumonteil19 April 2009
A writer is working on a detective story while a mysterious killer is doing away with the French romantic young leads (although Jules Berry was anything but a young romantic man)of the era;the victims are not imaginary characters but great names such as Jean -Louis Barrault.Which makes sense ,when you know the killer's motives:without spilling the beans,I would say that some were cross because of the stranglehold the American cinema already had on the whole world! In spite of an undistinguished direction, the movie is relatively interesting ,using fake trailers and spooky announcements in the movie theaters (HE might be here among the audience).
