Stupid spoof of Soap Operas
lor_13 October 2018
Very sloppily directed by Fred Lincoln, this relic from the VHS era is embarrassingly primitive, attempting to mock soap operas, organ music on the soundtrack and all. Throwing in a murder mystery is crass overachieving.

Tom Byron's acting is quite poor as the producer of the soap, whose leading ladies are unimpressive, but clawing away at stardom (and prominence) both in character and out. Rachel Ryan, big name among 'em, is thrown into the show near the end, so late I thought her upfront billing was an error until she finally entered the picture as an unlikely police detective.
