A passable later Woody Woodpecker cartoon
The 60s to 70s Woody Woodpecker cartoons weren't really that great when compared to the 40s to 50s shorts, and this cartoon is no exception, though it is a passable cartoon.
PROS -Grace Stafford does a good job voicing Woody as usual
-With the exception of the rope gag and the log gag, the gags here are amusing and some even funny.
-Dirty Mc Nasty is an entertaining antagonist
-Walter Greene delivers an energetic musical score
CONS -As usual for 60s to 70s Woody Woodpecker cartoons, the animation is 60's TV quality and low-budget.
-As mentioned before, the rope gag and log gag are the weakest gags.
Overall, it's passable, not a great cartoon but not a bad one either, though it pales in comparision to the 40s to 50s shorts, it's worth a watch if you're a Woody Woodpecker fan.
6/10.
