Mind the IRS!

Henri Lepage represents one of the many nadirs of the fifties French cinema; he virtually redefined the word "square" .

In spite of the title, which is a complete misnomer, there're no swimming instructors in it .

A business man runs a (female only) bathing suits gold mine ,paid with his wife 's dowry, a spouse he cheats on with three mistresses: "it must cost you an arm and a leg "his good friend Tessier says "I'd rather have the streetwalkers ";the lines are rather saucy, and the Office Catholique Du Cinéma forbad the movie to their flock .The fashion show takes place around a swimming -pool where the ladies display their physique : "strange , although it's swimming suits for women, the male audience is in large majority !"

The business is thriving till the taxman and IRS come and discover that a black notebook contain fraudulent accounts.

The moral of this flick that to run your business legally leads to bankrupcy and that the more you trick the state, the more you make money ; a great director ,such as Billy Wilder could have made something out of this dubious conclusion. Henri Lepage couldn't.
