60 years later...
lpiet-118 March 2006
March 18, 2006, my grandson arrives when I'm copying a VHS cassette of this film in DVD : he immediately sits in an armchair and does not divert his attention, except for a few explanations.

Roughly sixty years before, when I was 8 or 9 years old, I had been similarly fascinated by "Le Cavalier Noir" (the black rider) who exactly corresponded to the image that I had imagined of George Guétary who I had only heard -or better, listened to- on the radio till I saw that film.

Sixty years later, in a more recent story, the magic remains, the magic is repeated ! More than one data bind both films; however, the song addressed to the horse (Chiquito in 1945, and a horse without a name, a horse found by chance, in 1957) is perhaps what will bind us in the common magic memory that I now have with my grandson.

Confirmation of the power of fascination of George Guétary who represents the good mood,a dynamic confidence in the future, the nobility of the feelings, the faithful love... and the charm above all.
