To attract the tourists, an unscrupulous man,Martel, who organizes package tours, takes a village where Napoleon never set foot and affirms that the emperor stopped at the local inn on his way back from Elbe Island.Most the inhabitants think that it's really a godsend.Only the schoolteacher does not share their enthusiasm:an educated man,he is also an orphan who got a raw deal.He confides in Martel.Bad idea:the day after,his life makes the headline which is spread across three columns .
