Jason is a very talented writer and director. All of his other works, even "Payback" were entertaining to watch and rather original in action. This is why I was so disappointed that he ripped off Robert Altman's "The Player" to make this movie. The plot was nearly identical as were several characters even down to the black female cop who seems to know what he did. Fortunately, Jason has moved on to bigger and better things and his last several works have been original. If anyone has a chance to see this movie I recommend it for the experience of seeing it... however, you may consider watching it back to back with "The Player" if for no other reason than to let me know that I'm mistaken.
