good intentions
Kirpianuscus17 June 2016
greed. errors. cruelty of destiny. a film with noble message in wrong form. because its great potential is reduced at an obvious story about justice and used for define as legitimated the nationalization. and this is the sin of a film who could impress at the first view for the performance of Draga Olteanu Matei , who has seductive intentions to present the drama of a widow as reflection of political changes. like many others films from the same period, it is a too didactic demonstration of basic purpose. and a good idea becomes part of propaganda tools. a film who remains interesting for the good intentions of the actors. and for the crumbs of life in Lugoj after the second world war. but for nothing more.

impressive

one of great performances of Draga Olteanu - Matei. a bitter story. an impressive adaptation. each new meeting with this film is a ball of emotions. because, behind the red nuances of story, the images, the extraordinary acting, the universal message, the struggle of a woman for who need to support of her children becomes root of deep greed , the final solitude and the shadow of Faustus 's pact are always remarkable. sure, a great cast is good basis for an interesting film. but , in this case, the script or acting are only bricks. the roof remains a state of soul. not clear, not easy to define, only drawing of delicate strong emotions. nothing else. may be, the water of silence after its end. and the joy to discover an admirable work.
