very engaging comedy of errors

Warning: Spoilers
This is a very engaging comedy of errors directed by the experienced Adrian Brunel. It all resolves around 2 middle aged people who correspond through a dating agency. They decide to meet on a cruise. However due to circumstances they don't go on the cruise. The man is replaced by a reporter and the woman by her niece.Matters are further complicated by the fact that the man had given a false name and the reporter is financed by an elderly spinster when he fancies the niece. The original man was knocked down and is traced through the spinster. However this means that the reporter is now suspected of being a criminal. However all works out well in the end and as usual love wins out. There is a very strange aunt who dresses up for dinner in a man's dinner jacket and frowns on marriage!
