I'm just a jealous girl.

This is par excellence what the French call (filmed) "théâtre de Boulevard " (-very- light comedies)

A woman is pathologically jealous ; she suspects every woman her husband meets; during the 1889 World Fair ,he 's got to inaugurate the "palace of wines " ,for his father-in-law is a Bordeaux wealthy producer .And it's a pretext to show sexy dancers on a scene ;besides the jealous wife ,in the wake of unfortunate circomstances , has noticed "the scent of a woman " on her hubby's suit.

As jealous is infectious ,she contaminates her friend Suzanne and even her parents who are about to celebrate their wedding anniversary .And she thwarts her brother's future marriage with an orphan whose guardian is adamant as far as the fiancé's family's morality is concerned .

This is a harmless little comedy ,with an excellent cast (Suzy Prim , André Luguet,Charpin,Gabrielle Dorziat) who struggles to keep the story going till the (happy ) end ; gone is the heroine's absurd jealousy! gone, really?
