Paris, 27th December 1921: L'agonie des aigles was shown in a gala evening to help War Widows and Orphans, whose venue was the Opéra de Paris. The date, too, was picked to coincide with the centenary of Napoleon I's death.
Mon Ciné magazine writes on May 29, 1924, that the bear used in Miarka, the Child of the Bear (1920) also shot scenes for this film but they were deleted before release.
