• Bennett : [after hearing alien noises in the woods]  It didn't sound like any animal I ever heard. It sounded... unearthly.

  Derek : You wouldn't know the difference between a brown bear and a hoot owl if it came up and bit you on the ass!

  Bennett : Well we know what they like to eat.

  [they then stare vacantly at each other for several seconds with no dialogue... and the movie cuts to later with Bennett by himself at the gas pump] 

• Bennett : The cosmic vastness of space. It lies before us, a looming, dark mystery that stares down from high above. But what really lies beyond our galaxy? Do we rule the stars, being the only lifeform to exist? Or are there others? Sightings of strange objects in the sky have been reported by millions of people. Even accounts of visitations of creatures from other planets are documented on a weekly basis. Even more unfortunate incidents; the capture of unwilling victims for experiments and observation. Where do these creatures come from? What do they want on Earth? Are they friends, or do they watch our planet with evil intentions, waiting for the right time to slip past our uncaring eyes and reveal their hidden agenda? We can only pray that day never comes. And if it does, pray we are ready.
