The last time I saw this movie was 25 years ago, so please forgive my scattered memories. This movie is about a kid who loves animals and i believe his dad ran the nature museum in town. He has some friends and had been victimized by a local bully. The bully is a bit of a punk but not 'evil'. There is also a gang of really bad kids that are evil (they spray paint a local man's dog, etc.). Well, one night while he was walking in the forest type area, and explosion goes off. The cops try to pin it on him, but find out who his dad is and realize that it must not have been him. It turns out that the explosion was a 'BB bomb', and had killed a duck or something at the lake. So suspicion goes toward the bully kid... but Duncan realizes a little later that the bully really isn't that bad of a guy, and wouldn't have done something like that (he shows the bully his pet racoon's babies and educated him about if the mother gets nervous she might eat those babies). So Duncan needs to prove that the gang is responsible for the explosion.
Please don't punk me for this review. When I was a kid I watched this movie over and over again, because my mom had recorded it off of showtime in the 1970's!! I'd like to see it again just for camp value, but I don't think I can find it.
