This movie has the distinction of being the first feature-length American nudist documentary to show full frontal nudity.
Director John Lamb hired a group of about 15 handsome young hard-bodies, with guys and girls equally balanced. His cast included actresses, real nudists, some artist's models and a few college students who simply showed up for the tryouts. Eyewitness accounts from the film shoot at Swallows Roost nudist resort say Lamb turned away flat-chested girls and less well-endowed men.
In the DVD extras, Jack Hill notes the movie debuted in a small Hollywood theatre and the production company had a lawyer present in case police came to bust them (they never showed up).
In the DVD extras, Jack Hill notes, the Los Angeles Times wouldn't print the movie's title because it was a movie about nudity and they thought that was "too rough."
