During its release the film garnered the headline "You Can Never Go Home Again" from the local Moose Jaw Saskatchewan newspaper. That pretty much sums up the strategy that Hancox was aiming for. The odyssey of a filmmaker trying to visit a place along his personal history which has been lost forever. The notions of personal place and time is ever fleeting, the reconciliation of history usually proves as fruitless as ressurrecting the dead.
