While the rappers in the movie shot their parts in New York, the actors of the movie filmed in Central and Eastern Europe in abandoned buildings.
The director, Albert Pyun shot the film simultaneously with two other "urban"-features, The Wrecking Crew and Corrupt.
The DVD provides an option of skipping the film and simply listening to Ice-T rapping.
Half the finished film was lost in transit, requiring substitution of rough duplicate footage. Because of that, large parts of the film are in black and white and the photography is often blurry.
Only two stuntmen were used for this film, making death scenes redundant.
